Abstract

South Jakarta is a tradding and service district which is the second most populated commuter destination after Central Jakarta. These commuters have a huge influence on shaping the Sisingamangaraja to Fatmawati street whose majority of trips are work and shopping. The odd-even expansion was implemented on September 9, 2019, one of which is in the southern corridor of Jakarta, where there is an adequate road network in the corridor
and there is an MRT train that serves roads affected by the odd-even expansion areaThis research's main purpose is to find out how much impact the Odd-Even system have on Jakarta's MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) Phase 1 demand, especially on workers and shoppers. To achieve this purpose, there are two goals set upon : 1) Identifying characteristics and traveling pattern on workers and shoppers by using T Test and ANOVA Test; 2) Measuring
the impact of Odd-Even system on Jakarta's MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) demand by using the multinomial logistic regression analysis. The result of this research shows several variables that affect workers to switch their means
of transportation based on multinomial logistic regression analysis, which are The Amount of Private Transportation Owned (X4), Travel Cost (X11), and Travel Route (X6). As for the variables that affect shoppers to switch their means of transportation based on multinomial logistic regression analysis, they are Travel Route (X6), Salary Rate (X4), and Gender (X1). In order to measure the impact of Odd-Even system on both workers and shoppers respondents, a calculation was made based on the multinomial logistic regression equation. The impact of Odd-Even system on MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) demand on workers are 15% and 43.4% on shoppers.
