Abstract

menggunakan metode Risk Based Inspection (RBI).
Plan Date.

Work safety is the main thing that needs to be met in the aspect of oil and gas production. This is inseparable from the character of oil and gas itself which has high pressure and explosive nature so that if a system failure occurs, it will have a negative impact on humans, the environment, and the operations themselves. To reduce this failure a safety system is installed in the form of the application of a pressure relief device (PRD) which functions to control and limit the pressure by directing the flow into additional pathways. In the process of purifying oil and gas, the application of PRD itself is one of which is in the gas separator production system. However, based on API 581, the PRD also has a risk of failure so that every oil and gas company needs to conduct regular inspections to ensure the reliability of the PRD. One approach to evaluating the criticality of the PRD to manage its inspection and scheduling program is to use the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) method. RBI is a systematic approach to the management method of inspection of equipment or work units based on the level of risk that is owned by the equipment or work unit. Risk is determined based on the calculation of the likelihood of failure (POF) and the consequences of failure (CoF). The risk assessment for the PRD Production Gas Separator system is based on API RP 581 third edition. After knowing the level of risk there is then evaluated against these risks. Risks that are still accepted can be used as a reference to determine the next inspection time to reach the risk target. From the results that have been analyzed the
magnitude of risk in PSV-1020A / B, PSV-1311, PSV-1312, PSV-2910, PSV-2921 and PSV 2931 ranges between 0.071 m2 / year - 0.49 m2 / year for RBI Date and ranges between 1,915 m2 / year - 7.85 m2 / year for the RBI Plan Date. If the risk is included in the risk matrix it has a medium risk and medium high-risk risk category.
