Abstract

Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember merupakan salah satu perguruan tinggi yang menerapkan perkuliahan daring secara penuh pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Kebijakan ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi persebaran pandemi COVID-19 yang saat ini sedang terjadi di hampir seluruh penjuru dunia. Adanya perubahan model perkuliahan tersebut, menuntut mahasiswa melakukan beberapa penyesuaian. Adanya kondisi ini diperlukan peninjauan kembali terkait beberapa gejala dan dampak yang akan timbul dari perkuliahan daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pengukuran terhadap gejala – gejala yang timbul, seperti beban kerja mental, tingkat stres, dan tingkat motivasi belajar. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner awal yang telah disebarkan diperoleh hasil bahwa sebanyak 50% responden menyatakan bahwa penyampaian materi perkuliahan daring masih kurang efektif dan sebanyak 66% responden menyatakan bahwa dengan adanya perkuliahan daring ini mempengaruhi tingkat stres yang dirasakan. Adanya pengukuran tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan gambaran bagi institusi untuk pengembangan konsep belajar daring yang lebih baik pada periode selanjutnya. Dalam melakukan pengukuran gejala-gejala tersebut digunakan beberapa metode, yang terdiri beban kerja mental dengan metode DRAWS, tingkat stres dengan The Student-life Stress Inventory, dan untuk tingkat motivasi belajar dengan Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada 357 responden, diperoleh hasil bahwa jumlah responden yang termasuk kategori mengalami peningkatan prestasi belajar selama perkuliahan daring sebesar 78,43%, memperoleh hasil yang sama sebesar 7,56%, dan mengalami penurunan sebesar 14,01%. Berdasarakan hasil perhitungan, diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel motivasi dan stres akademik berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. Sedangkan beban kerja mental tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar. ========================================================= Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember is one of the institutions that implementing full online lectures in the academic year 2019/2020 this even period. This policy aims to anticipate the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic which is currently happening in almost all over the world. The change in the lecture model requires students to make some adjustments. With this condition, it is necessary to review some of the symptoms and impacts that will arise from online lectures. This study aims to measure the symptoms that arise, such as mental workload, stress levels, and learning motivation levels. Based on the results of the pre-survey that was distributed, it was found that as many as 50% of respondents stated that the delivery of online lecture material was still ineffective and as many as 66% of respondents stated that the presence of this online lecture affected the level of stress felt. The existence of these measurements is expected to provide an overview for institutions to further develop online learning concepts. In measuring these symptoms several methods are used, which consist of mental workload with the DRAWS method, stress levels with The Student-life Stress Inventory, and for the level of learning motivation with the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ). Based on the results of research on 357 respondents, it was found that the number of respondents belonging to the category experienced an increase in learning achievement during online lectures by 78.43%, obtained the same results at 7.56%, and decreased by 14.01%. Based on the calculation results, the results obtained that the variable motivation and academic stress significantly influence learning achievement. While mental workload does not significantly influence learning achievement.
