Abstract

PT.
diperoleh mode B (Terak / OPC / PCC = 13.76% / 34.63% / 51.62%) paling
menguntungkan diterapkan.
dibandingkan terak

PT. XYZ is a leading cement company located in the eastern of Java. In
the production process PT. XYZ uses coal as a fuel. The production process, that is
continuous, must be maintained well, so the coal supply must always met with the
production demand. This study aims to plan the most appropriate coal inventory
control system from the dynamic system simulation results. From the simulation
results it was found that the more appropriate inventory control method applied was
the continuous review system method. This method can reduce the total inventory
cost by 4.36% or equivalent to Rp.54.8 M / year (from Rp. 1,256 T to Rp. 1,201 T),
the optimum inventory level is maintained at the level of 120,143 tons, with an
interval of arrival every 1.22 days (per 7,500 ton). The results of simulations of 3
company forecasting scenarios (RKAP) in 2020, obtained mode B (Clinker / OPC
/ PCC = 13.76% / 34.63% / 51.62%) is most advantageously applied. In the
condition of production according to installed capacity, there is a decrease in total
company revenue dan increase in total inventory cost along with the increase in slag
demand, a 1% increase in slag demand causes a decrease in revenue of 0.51% or
Rp 59.20 billion and increase in inventory cost of 0.01% or Rp 0.161 billion , so it
is necessary to take a policy of maximizing the fulfillment of cement demand before
clinker.
