Abstract
Pada tahun 2014, PT. KAI telah menambahkan perangkat pendeteksi kecepatan lokomotif jarak jauh atau locotrack dalam operasional lokomotif yang berguna untuk meningkatkan keselamatan perjalanan. Monitor panel indikator akan berubah menjadi merah apabila laju kereta yang dipantau tersebut melebihi kecepatan yang telah ditentukan (Over Speed) [1]. Pemantauan tersebut hanya dapat tertuju pada satu Over Speed saja, sementara perlu diberikan Over Speed khusus pada tempat-tempat seperti pintu-pintu kereta api, persimpangan, dan pemberhentian (stasiun). Pada tugas akhir kali ini, akan dibuat sistem pengamanan untuk Monitoring Kecepatan Kereta Api pada titik tertentu (yang peru di pantau), seperti pintu-pintu kereta api, persimpangan, dan pemberhentian (stasiun). Deteksi kehadiran dan kecepatan kereta api merupakan solusi yang efek- tif dan terjangkau untuk diaplikasikan pada kasus ini. Sistem ini menggunakan IP-camera untuk menangkap citra input dan SBC untuk mengolah citra agar menghasilkan output data arah dan kecepatan. Hasil tangkapan kamera digunakan untuk mendeteksi kereta, kemudian dihitung kecepatannya berdasarkan perbedaan frame pada citra input tersebut.

In 2014, PT. KAI has added Remote locomotive speed detection device or locotrack in locomotive operation which is useful for increasing travel safety. The monitor panel indicator will turn red if the speed of the monitored train exceeds the predetermined speed (Over Speed [1]. This monitoring can only focus on one Over Speed only, while it needs to be given Over Speed specifically at places such as train gates, intersections, and stops (stations). In this final project, a security system will be made for Monitoring Train Speed at certain points (which need to be monitored), such as train gates, intersections, and stops (stations). In this case, the Real-Time Train Speed Prediction using Ip-Camera is an effective and affordable solution to be applied. This system uses IP-camera to capture the input image and SBC to process the image to produce the output direction and speed data. The Camera is used to detect the train, then the speed is calculated based on the different frames in the image input.
