Abstract

Salah satu tujuan bisnis perusahaan secara umum adalah menghasilkan keuntungan semaksimal mungkin, berbagai cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan, diantaranya adalah dengan menciptakan aktivitas maintenance yang efektif, karena hal ini akan membantu pengurangan penggunaan biaya, meningkatkan produktivitas, dan mempertahankan bisnis perusahaan. Pengoperasian alat berat yang baik dan maintenance yang cermat akan menghasilkan produksi yang optimal dan hemat biaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi strategy perawatan alat berat, memodelkan permasalahan strategi perawatan alat-alat berat di PT Vale Indonesia serta memberikan rekomendasi tentang yang bersifat win-win solution dari sudut pandang minimasi downtime alat berat maupun dari sudut pandang minimasi biaya perawatan. Linear Programming adalah metode yang di gunakan untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan meminimasi biaya sekaligus minimasi downtime yang di gunakan dalam proses maintenance. Kemudian hasil optimasi di gunakan untuk menghitung perencanaan produksi untuk mewujudkan joint decision yang saling menguntungkan antara perencanaan produksi dan strategy maintenance alat berat. Pada akhir penelitian ini di dapatkan hasil optimasi yaitu biaya maintenance = $ 5,575,781, downtime = 29,453 jam, downtime preventive maintenance = 25,357 jam, Downtime Planned Maintenance = 4,096 jam dan Downtime Unplanned Maintenance = 0 jam. ====================================================================================================================== One of the business objectives of the company in general is to make maximum profits, various ways that can be done to improve company performance, including creating effective maintenance activities, because this will help reduce the use of costs, increase productivity, and maintain the company's business. Good machine operation and careful maintenance will produce optimal and cost-effective production. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that influence the heavy equipment maintenance strategy, model the problem of heavy equipment maintenance strategies at PT Vale Indonesia and provide recommendations on win-win solutions from the perspective of heavy equipment downtime and from a minimization perspective maintenance cost. Linear Programming is a method used to help solve the problem of minimizing costs while minimizing downtime used in the maintenance process. Then the optimization results are used to calculate the production plan to realize a mutually beneficial decision between production planning and heavy equipment maintenance strategy. At the end of this study, the optimization results obtained are maintenance costs = $ 5,575,781, downtime = 29,453 hours, downtime preventive maintenance = 25,357 hours, Downtime Planned Maintenance = 4,096 hours and Downtime Unplanned Maintenance = 0 hours.
