Abstract
Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) adalah jaringan dari tubuh manusia ke sensor yang diletakkan di permukaan tubuh atau di sekitar tubuh. WBAN merupakan bidang penelitian dan pengembangan yang sedang aktif diteliti karena menawarkan potensi peningkatan yang cukup besar untuk pemantauan dan pengembangan pada layanan kesehatan.
Pada penelitian tugas akhir ini akan dilakukan penelitian mengenai pendeteksian lokasi tubuh manusia. Perkembangan antena Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) memungkinkan untuk pendektesian lokasi tubuh manusia yang akurat dikarenakan resolusi yang tinggi, profil yang kecil, dan konsumsi daya yang rendah.
Penelitian akan dilakukan di dalam ruangan di area berbentuk kubus dengan panjang sisi-sisinya 1,5 m3 dengan konfigurasi satu antena di tubuh manusia dan multiple-antenna di sudut area pengukuran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode time of arrival (TOA) yaitu perhitungan jarak menggunakan waktu propagasi antara Tx dan Rx dan juga metode trilateration. Parameter yang akan diukur dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai S21 dari mobile station (MS) ke base station (BS) menggunakan Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Penelitian ini menghasilkan penentuan lokasi dengan akurasi dengan rentang 2-5cm. ======================================================================================================================
Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) is a wireless network that can connect sensors that are placed on the surface of the human body, around the body or even implanted inside the skin. WBAN is an area of research and development that is being actively researched because it offers a substantial increase in potential for monitoring and development in health services.
On this occasion, there will be research on the detection of the location of the human body indoor. The development of Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) antennas open the possibility for accurate detection of the location of the human body due to its high resolution, low profile, and very low power consumtion.
The study will be conducted indoor in an area of 1.5 x 1.5 x 1.5 m3 cube with the configuration of one antenna in the human body and multiple antennas in the corner of the measurement area. The method used in this study is the time of arrival (TOA) method, which is the calculation of the distance using the propagation time between Tx and Rx and also trilateration method. The parameter to be measured in this study is the value of S21 from mobile station (MS) to base station (BS) using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). This study resulted a localization with accuracy accuracy with a range of 2-5cm.
