Abstract

Peningkatan mutu dan layanan fasilitas ke anak didik menjadi hal penting yang dikembankan oleh setiap sekolah. salah satunya adalah PG-TK Daycare labschool Unesa Ketintang Surabaya, yang merupakan sekolah denan system pembelajaran yang mendukung tahap kembang anak di didik langsung oleh pakar pendidikan anak usia dini dari Universitas Negeri Surabaya. akan tetapi fasilitas pada sekolah ini masih perlu adanya peningkatan peningkatan
baik dalam segi keamanan maupun kenyamanan. Bangunan sekolah merupakan bangunan bekas kampus yang tidak terawat,sehingga terasa suram dan kurangnya perhatian pada
kemanan bagi anak-anak. Hal ini dapat mempengaruhi efektifitas belajar anak saat berada di sekolah.
Melalui observasi, wawancara serta studi pustaka didapatkan bahwa desain ruangan di PG-TK dan Daycare Labschool Unesa Ketintang dapat dikembangkan dalam hal fasilitas dan nuansa pembelajaran menyenangkan yang diterapkan dengan lebih optimal dan di selaraskan dengan kurikulum sekolah. Konsep yang diusung ialah Fun Learning dengan sentuhan tematik alam. Fun Learning di pilih agar anak merasa senang,aman dan nyaman saat mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah. Tematik alam menjadi nuansa metode Fun Learning, selain dapat menegmbangkan kecerdasan naturalistic anak, dapat juga mendukung visi misi dari Labschool Unesa itu sendiri yaitu agar anak dapat belajar dan peduli terhadap lingkungan sekitar.

Improving the quality and service facilities for students is an important thing that is
developed by every school. One of them is PG-TK and Daycare Labschool Unesa
Ketintang, which is a school with a learning system that supports the development stage of
children being educated directly by early childhood education experts from Surabaya State
University. However, the facilities at this school still need improvement in terms of both
safety and comfort. The school building is a former campus building that is not well
maintained, so it feels gloomy and lacks attention to safety for children. This can affect the
effectiveness of children's learning while at school.
Through observations, interviews and literature studies, it was found that the room design
in PG-TK and Daycare Labschool Unesa Ketintang could be developed in terms of
facilities and fun learning nuances that were implemented more optimally and aligned with
the school curriculum.
The concept that is carried is Fun Learning with a natural thematic touch. Fun Learning
is chosen so that children feel happy, safe and comfortable when participating in learning
at school. Thematic nature is the nuance of the Fun Learning method, besides being able
to develop children's naturalistic intelligence, it can also support the vision and mission of
Labschool Unesa itself, namely so that children can learn and care about the surrounding
environment.
