Abstract
Memilih supplier adalah salah satu area rantai pasokan hulu yang memengaruhi kualitas produk yang dihasilkan oleh perusahaan. Seleksi supplier sangat disadari sebagai salah satu tanggung jawab terpenting dalam fungsi manajemen pengadaan. Supplier yang terkelola dengan baik dalam suatu rantai pasokan akan memberikan efek jangka panjang terhadap daya saing keseluruhan rantai pasokan itu sendiri, dan dampak yang mendalam pada kepuasan pelanggan. Seleksi supplier merupakan keputusan yang sulit karena berbagai macam kriteria harus dipertimbangkan dalam proses pembuatan keputusannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan kerangka kerja untuk memilih kriteria supplier terbaik di bagian Goods Spot Purchase, Departemen SCM di PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierechy Process (AHP), dengan dibantu oleh software Expert Choice. Model yang diusulkan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam memilih supplier yang efisien berdasarkan persyaratan yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi bahwa kriteria utama untuk pemilihan supplier terbaik adalah kualitas (0.315), harga (0.302), pengiriman (0.178), vendor performance (0.109), serta fleksibilitas & respon (0.096). Bobot dari masing-masing kriteria dan sub kriteria dikembangkan melalui metode AHP dengan perbandingan berpasangan (pair wise comparison). Berdasarkan hasil analisa terhadap 3 vendor (Vendor X, Vendor Y, dan Vendor Z), maka perusahaan diutamakan untuk memilih Vendor X sebagai supplier terbaik, dengan bobot 0.476. Sementara Vendor Y memiliki bobot 0.238 (posisi ketiga) dan Vendor Z memiliki bobot 0.286 (posisi kedua). Studi ini akan bermanfaat untuk diterapkan di perusahaan, dalam hal pemilihan pemasok terbaik di bagian Pembelian non-stok (Goods Spot Purchase), Departemen SCM secara objektif.

Choosing a supplier is one of the upstream supply chain areas that affect the quality of the products produced by the company. Supplier selection is recognized as one of the most important responsibilities in the procurement management function. A well-managed supplier in a supply chain will have a long-term effect on the overall competitiveness of the supply chain itself, and a profound impact on customer satisfaction. Supplier selection is a difficult decision because various criteria must be considered in the decision-making process. This study aims to develop a framework for selecting the best supplier criteria in the Goods Spot Purchase section, SCM Department at PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. In this research, the method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), assisted by Expert Choice software. The proposed model can assist companies in selecting efficient suppliers based on requirements set by the company. The results of the study identified that the main criteria for selecting the best supplier were quality (0.315), price (0.302), delivery (0.178), vendor performance (0.109), and flexibility & response (0.096). The weights of each criterion and sub-criterion are developed through the AHP method in a pairwise comparison. Based on the analysis of 3 vendors (Vendor X, Vendor Y, and Vendor Z), the company is preferred to choose Vendor X as the best supplier, with a weight of 0.476. While Vendor Y has a weight of 0.238 (third position) and Vendor Z has weight of 0.286 (second position). This study will be useful to apply in a company, in terms of selecting the best suppliers in the Goods Spot Purchase section, SCM Department objectively.
