Abstract

Lumpur Sidoarjo hingga kini masih terus memproduksi lumpur dan gas. Akumulasi lumpur menambah beban pada tanggul yang menahan hingga akhirnya jebol. Jebolnya tanggul ini dimulai dari retakan – retakan kecil pada tanggul yang disusupi lumpur. Lumpur ini berkomposisi 62-73% terdiri dari air merembes dan mengisi retakan tersebut. Apabila terjadi secara terus menerus, rembesan ini akan berpengaruh terhadap gaya tahan tanggul mengakibatkan longsor dan tanggul jebol. Salah satu cara meminimalisir tanggul jebol adalah dengan melakukan monitoring secara berkala. Pengukuran metode geofisika resistivitas dan metode Ground Penetrating Radar digunakan untuk mengetahui gambaran bawah permukaan tanggul dan mendeteksi intrusi lumpur berdasarkan parameter nilai resistivitasnya. Data pengukuran geolistrik dibandingkan dengan data GPR sehingga didapatkan dimana rembesan lumpur pada tanggul LUSI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rembesan air lumpur sudah masuk hampir ke semua bagian tanggul Ptangbendo titik P75-67 pada elevasi tanggul -3 hingga 6 meter.

Lumpur Sidoarjo still continues to produce mud and gas. The accumulation of mud adds to the load on the embankment that holds it until it breaks. The breakdown of this embankment started from small cracks in the embankment infused with mud. This mud composition 62-73% consists of water seeping which filling the cracks. If it occurs continuously, this seepage will affect the resistance force of the embankment causing landslides and the embankment to burst. One way to minimize a broken embankment is by monitoring it regularly. Measurement of the geophysical resistivity method and the Ground Penetrating Radar method are used to determine the subsurface image of the embankment and detect mud intrusion based on its resistivity value parameter. Geoelectric measurement data is compared with GPR data so that it is found where the mud seepage is in the LUSI embankment. The results showed that the seepage of mud water had entered almost all parts of the Ptangbendo embankment point P75-67 at an embankment elevation of -3 to 6 meters.
