Abstract

Herbisida merupakan salah satu jenis pestisida yang berguna untuk mencegah dan mematikan gulma atau tumbuhan pengganggu. Pengendalian kualitas pada produk herbisida yang telah dilakukan PT “Z” hanya sebatas melalui inspeksi batas spesifikasi yang telah ditentukan. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pengendalian kualitas produk herbisida secara statistik dengan menggunakan peta kendali multivariat serta kapabililitas proses formulasi herbisida di PT “Z”. Pada penelitian ini, metode yang akan digunakan adalah Multivariate Control Chart For Process Dispersion dan T2-Hotelling Control Chart. Karakteristik kualitas yang diukur pada produk herbisida yang diuji oleh quality control meliputi kadar pH, density, dan Active Ingredient (AI). Data pada pengamatan quality control di perusahaan ini merupakan pengamatan individu atau hanya memiliki satu subgrup dan mengikuti pola distribusi normal multivariat sehingga metode yang digunakan yaitu peta kendali multivariat. Multivariate Control Chart For Process Dispersion digunakan untuk mengendalikan variabilitas proses sedangkan T2-Hotelling Control Chart digunakan untuk mengendalikan rat-rata proses. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu variabilitas proses formulasi produk herbisida belum terkendali secara statistik. Sedangkan untuk rata-rata proses telah terkendali secara statistik. Hasil kapabilitas proses secara multivariat menunjukkan bahwa proses formulasi produk herbisida PT “Z” bulan Juli 2019 telah kapabel dan memiliki presisi dan akurasi yang tinggi.

Herbicide is one type of pesticide that is useful for preventing and disabling weed or invasive plants. Quality control of herbicide products that has been done by PT “Z” is only limited through the specified specification limit inspection. Therefore, it is necessary to control the quality of herbicide products in a statistical way using multivariate control chart and herbicide formulation process capability in PT “Z”. In this research, the methods are Multivariate Control Chart For Process Dispersion and T2-Hotelling Control Chart. Quality characteristics on the herbicide products that are tested by quality control include pH, density, and Active Ingredient (AI) levels. Observation data of quality control in this company is an individual observation or only has one subgroup and follows multivariate normal distribution. Therefore, the method that are able to be used are multivariate control charts. The Multivariate Control Chart For Process Dispersion is used to control process variability while the T2-Hotelling Control Chart is used to control the process's average. The results are variability of the formulation process of herbicide products is not controlled statistically. But, the process’s average has been statistically controlled. The results of multivariate process capability showed that the process of formulation of herbicide product of PT “Z” in July 2019 is capable and has high precision and accuracy.
