Abstract

PT Semen “X” merupakan jenis perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak dibidang produksi semen, selain itu PT Semen “X” merupakan salah satu holding company penghasil semen terbesar di Indonesia yang menguasai 43% pangsa pasar dalam negeri. Oleh karena itu, PT Semen “X” selalu berupaya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dengan kualitas yang baik dan menetapkan standar kualitas dalam produksinya. Pada perusahaan ini pengendalian kualitas hanya dilakukan sebatas analisa deskriptif dan perhitungan secara manual, sehingga pengendalian kualitas proses produksi belum dilakukan secara statistik. Pada penelitian ini akan dilakukan pengendalian kualitas proses produksi semen dalam satu periode produksi menggunakan peta kendali Max MCUSUM berdasarkan pengukuran variabel CaO, SiO2, dan Al2O3, karena ketiga variabel tersebut merupakan senyama kimia semen dengan persentase paling banyak. Diagram kendali Max MCUSUM digunakan karena lebih sensitif dalam mendeteksi pergeseran proses yang kecil, serta efektif karena memonitor rata-rata dan variabilitas secara simultan dalam satu peta kendali. Berdasarkan analisis dengan menggunakan ARL 370 didapatkan interval keputusan (h) 168,1329 diperoleh hasil bahwa tidak ditemukan nilai statistik Mi yang keluar dari batas kendali atau dalam artian grafik telah terkendali secara statistik dengan nilai Mi terbesar sebesar 151,043.

PT Semen “X” is a kind of manufacturing company that is produce cement, moreover PT Semen “X” is one of the largest holding company in producing cement which control almost 43% market share in Indonesia. Hence, PT Semen “X”always strives the needs of consumers with a good quality and establish the quality standard as well. oIn this company, the quality control process are only limited to manual measurement (descriptive), so that the quality control of the production process has not been conducted statistically. This research is going to be conducted quality control of cement in one production period using Max MCUSUM control chart based on the measurement of the CaO, SiO2, and Al2O3, for these three variables are the chemical compound of cement with the most composition. The Max MCUSUM control chart use in this research because Max MCUSUM control chart is more sensitive in detecting small process shifts and more effective because it monitors mean and variability simultaneously in a single control chart. Using ARL 370 so that the decision interval (h) of 168,1329 is obtained, the result is, there is no statistical value of Mi out of the decision interval so that the process has been controlled statistically with the maximum number of Mi is 151,043.
