Abstract

Ardunesia adalah Chip buatan Indonesia yang sudah digunakan sebagai beberapa alat elektronik seperti alat absen dan payment. Namun Sangat disayangkan karna chip ini memiliki potensi lebih dan dapat digunakan untuk produk yang dapat dijual kepada masyarakat umum. Dari adanya problem pengembang yang masih belum menyadari pentingnya inovasi dalam pengembangan produk, membuat desainer terpanggil untuk menawarkan solusi meningkatkan potensi chip buatan Indonesia.
Penulis melihat adanya peluang dalam pasar smart lighting dan terinspirasi dari teknik smart origami. Pendekatan desain eksplorasi dikolaborasikan menggunakan penggabungan beberapa teknik origami yang sudah dilakukan oleh periset serta produk terdahulu dan menerapkannya di dalam produk Smart lighting. Proyek ini nantinya akan memunculkan desain Smart Lighting yang terinspirasi dari origami, untuk memaksimalkan potensi dari kemampuan chip Ardunesia.

Ardunesia is a chip made in Indonesia that has been used as a number of electronic devices such as timesheet and payment. However, it is very unfortunate because this chip has more potential and can be used for products that can be sold to the general public. From the problem of developers who are still not aware of the importance of innovation in product development, designers are called to offer solutions to increase the potential of chips made in Indonesia.
The author sees an opportunity in the smart lighting market and is inspired by the smart origami technique. The exploratory design approach is collaborated using a combination of several origami techniques that have been done by researchers and previous products and applying them in Smart lighting products. This project will create a Smart Lighting design inspired by origami, to maximize the potential of the Ardunesia chip.
