Abstract
Kawasan Wisata Religi Sunan Ampel merupakan salah satu wisata religi di Pulau Jawa. Kawasan wisata ini terletak di Jl. Ampel Cemp No. 65 RT. 001/RW. 002. Kampung Ampel Surabaya terdapat akulturasi budaya yang kuat, yaitu komunitas dominan Arab, komunitas lokal Madura dan Jawa serta komunitas pendatang, Tionghoa. Wisata Sunan Ampel memiliki kawasan dengan beberapa objek wisata. Banyaknya cagar budaya dan sejarah membuat wisata Ampel masih eksis hingga saat ini. Namun dari konsep suvenir di kawasan wisata ini masih kurang menonjol, baik dari segi desain maupun daya tarik konsumen dalam membeli suvenir serta kurang mampu menggambarkan kawasan wisata.
Dalam perancangan ini, penulis memakai metode pendekatan stakeholder mapping serta observasi. Hal ini juga didukung oleh metode AEIOU untuk mengklasifikasikan konten dan aktivitas pada setiap objek wisata. Dalam proses membentuk ilustrasi desain, penulis merangkum metodologi yang terdiri dari beberapa metode, yaitu studi literatur, studi eksisting kawasan, depth interview, dan visitor experience, lalu dilanjutkan dengan proses kreatif pasca pengumpulan data, yaitu brainstorming, pemilihan kreteria desain, eksekusi konsep dan hasil final desain.
Tujuan dari perancangan ini adalah membentuk ilustrasi desain pada suvenir kaos yang mampu menjadi peluang sekaligus daya tarik bagi wisatawan maupun peziarah yang datang pada kawasan wisata. Melalui 3 konten yang dibuat yaitu, tokoh, objek bangunan dan tipografi bercirikhas diharapkan mampu memberikan dampak nyata perubahan souvenir yang ada ditempat wisata.

Sunan Ampel Religious Tourism Area is one of the religious tourism in Java. This tourist area is located on Jl. Ampel Cemp No. 65 RT. 001 / RW. 002. Ampel Kampung Surabaya has a strong cultural acculturation, namely the dominant Arab community, the local Madura and Javanese community and the migrant community, the Chinese. Sunan Ampel Tourism has an area with several tourist attractions.
The many cultural and historical reserves make Ampel tourism still exist today. But from the concept of souvenirs in the tourist area is still less prominent, both in terms of design and consumer appeal in buying souvenirs and less able to describe the tourist area.
In this design, the author uses the stakeholder mapping approach and observation. This is also supported by the AEIOU method for classifying content and activities in each tourist attraction. In the process of forming design illustrations, the authors summarize the methodology which consists of several methods, namely literature study, existing studies of the region, depth interviews, and visitor experience, then proceed with a creative process after data collection, namely brainstorming, selection of design criteria, concept execution and results final design.
The purpose of this design is to form a design illustration on a souvenir T-shirt that can be an opportunity as well as an attraction for tourists and pilgrims who come to the tourist area. Through the 3 content created, namely, figures, building objects and typographic characteristics are expected to be able to give a real impact on changes in souvenirs that exist in tourist attractions.
