Abstract

Energi listrik sangat berperan penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia. Sumber – sumber energy listrik dapat berasal dari batu bara atau berasal dari energy potensial dari alam yang dapat terbarukan seperti biomasa, panas bumi, energy surya, energy air dan energy angin, Indonesia memiliki sumber energy potensial yang cukup besar jumlahnya, namun untuk memanfaatkan energy tersebut kita memerlukan sebuah alat rectifier dan inverter yang dapat mengubah energi potensial tersebut menjadi energi listrik. Di teknik intrumentasi telah diajarkan bagaimana cara mengubah energy potensial tersebut menjadi energy listrik dalam mata kuliah Sistem Konversi Daya Listrik (SKDL).

Electrical energy has an important role in every aspect of human being. The resources of electrical energy can be founf on coal or from poterntial renewable energy for example biomass, geothermal energy, solar cell, water and wind. Indonesia has an abundant potential energy resources. But we need a thechnology called rectifier and inverter if we want to gather and use that potential enery and convert it to electrical energy. In instrumentation engineering has been taught about power electronic conversion system this subject teach us to convert potential energy from nature to electrical energy.
