Abstract
Plastik berasal dari bahan sintesis dan zat additif dengan ini plastik memiliki sifat kuat, ringan serta tahan lama, sehingga penggunaan plastik terus meningkat dan selalu digunakan dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Proses dekomposisi plastik berlangsung sangat lambat, diperlukan waktu hingga ratusan tahun agar terdegradasi menjadi mikroplastik melalui berbagai proses fisik, kimiawi maupun biologis. Ikan konsumsi Indonesia mempunyai nilai ekonomis tinggi, tetapi juga menyimpan bahaya yang tinggi terkait dengan mekanisme transport mikroplastik dan kesehatan manusia yang mengonsumsinya. Kegiatan ini meliputi studi literatur menggunakan jurnal penelitian tingkat nasional ataupun internasional terkait dengan mikroplastik pada ikan konsumsi, menekankan pada data karakteristik fisik dan kimiawi mikroplastik. Hasil kompilasi studi literature terdiri dari 100 ikan. Warna mikroplastik yang ditemukan yaitu warna merah, hitam, hijau, dan biru; bentuk mikroplastik fiber, fragmen, dan film; ukuran mikroplastik yaitu 150 – 5000 μm. Tipe polimer penyusun mikroplastik adalah PET, PE, EPDM, PVC & PES.

Plastic comes from synthetic materials and additives with this plastic has strong, lightweight and durable properties, so that the use of plastic continues to increase and is always used in daily activities. The plastic decomposition process takes place very slowly, it takes hundreds of years to be degraded into microplastics through various physical, chemical and biological processes. Indonesian fish consumption has high economic value, but also holds a high danger associated with microplastic transport mechanisms and human health that consume them. This activity includes a literature study using national or international research journals related to microplastic consumption of fish, emphasizing microplastic physical and chemical characteristics data. The compilation of literature studies consisted of 100 fish. Microplastic colors found are red, black, green, and blue; microplastic forms of fiber, fragments, and films; microplastic size that is 150 - 5000 μm. Microplastic constituent polymer types are PET, PE, EPDM, PVC & PES.
