Abstract

Many arthropods are found in a variety of habitats, including paddy ecosystem. In agriculture there are some fragmentation habitat using a trap crop. Habitat fragmentation was applied to reduce the diversity of species of arthropods are herbivorous arthropods taxa (pest). Habitat fragmentation may increase diversity of predatory arthropods (natural enemies) in the land of rice in paddy field ecosystem. There are two in the implementation of habitat fragmentation land use Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) as well as Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and surrounded Rice Varieties Ciherang (Trap Crop). Both the application of habitat fragmentation has different types of plants that are used as the main crop or trap crop, therefore, this research aims to know the influence of habitat fragmentation with a trap crop to predatory arthropods. Predatory arthropods sampling done using sweep net and trap (Yellow Pine Trap) every 10 HST (Days after planting) up to harvest the rice growth phase is adjusted. The results show that the composition of taxa from both land habitat fragmentation better Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and surrounded Rice Varieties Ciherang (Trap Crop) consists of different taxa predatory arthropods, there are several taxa found in habitat fragmentation land good Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) or instead. The functional composition of taxa on predatory arthropods if seen from the number of individuals in both land habitat fragmentation, rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and surrounded Rice Varieties Ciherang (Trap Crop) in the vegetative phase at the time of dominance, generative and reproductive. Based on the index of Shannon-Wiener diversity values in both land habitat fragmentation on each phase of the rice growth was relatively moderate, community similarity Index Moristhia Horn between Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and Rice Varieties IR 64 (Main Crop) and surrounded Rice Varieties Ciherang (Trap Crop) obtained for the vegetative phase of 0.92728, generative phase of 0.99764, reproductive phase of 0.51576, community similarity index value approaching 1 means the community has the resemblance of the same species
