Abstract

Abstrak- telah dilakukan tugas akhir tentang pengembangan reaktor fotokatalisis tipe plugflow O2 catcher dengan pergantian substrat. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat degradasi limbah industri metilen biru dengan menggunakan sensor fotodioda dalam reaktor fotokatalis. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan menghitung perbandingan metilen biru sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan treatmen pada reaktor fotokatalisis dan mengetahui pengaruh pergantian substrat terhadap degradasi limbah metilen biru. Fabrikasi substrat menggunakan komposisi campuran TiO2 : PEG 4000 : resin : hardener adalah 3 : 1 : 3 : 1,3 yang dilapiskan menggunakan kuas pada media kain kasa nilon. Selama proses fotodegradasi dilakukan pergantian substrat setiap 10 jam dan diberi perlakuan khusus. Degradasi zat warna diukur menggunakan Degradasi terbesar terjadi pada jam ke-1 sebesar 47% dan didapatkan penurunan absorbansi yang stabil pada proses degradasi limbah metilen biru.

Abstract

We have been done a research Development plug flow type photocatalysis reactor O2 Catcher as a Metilen biru Photodegradation Media's in realtime, Reasearch related to measure degradation level of metilen blue with a photodiode sensor in a photocatalyst reactor, and calculate the ratio of metilen blue before and after treatment in a photocatalyst reactor and knowing an effect of substrat substitution to metilen biru degradation. Fabrication of the substrate using a mixture of TiO2: PEG 4000: resin: hardener is 3: 1: 3: 1.3 which is coated with a brush on the nylon gauze media, Substrat changes every 10 hours and given special treatment. Dyestuff degradation was measured using UV-Vis spectrophotometer and photodiode sensor in realtime. significant degradation occurs at first hour and was obtained stable absorbantion decrease in degradation metilen blue process.
