Abstract
Budaya dan adat istiadat masyarakat Bali merupakan sebuah hal yang sangat erat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Terdapat sebuah kepercayaan yang telah melekat dalam pribadi masyarakat Bali. Hampir semua dari kepercayaan ini memiliki asal-usul cerita dan budaya yang menarik. Namun tidak banyak publikasi dari kepercayaan masyarakat Bali. Selain itu, banyak dari wisatawan baik lokal maupun mancanegara yang kurang memahami dan mengindahkan adat setempat. Seringkali kepercayaan tersebut dianggap sebagai tahayul tanpa rasa hormat.
Perancangan ini menggunakan beberapa metode seperti tinjauan pustaka dan wawancara. Metode awal adalah tinjauan pustaka dimana metode ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi dasar sebagai panduan dalam pembuatan buku. Wawancara terhadap narasumber dilakukan setelah penulis mendapat gambaran umum dari bahan. Setelah itu penulis menentukan konsep "dramatis dan kuat" berdasarkan riset yang telah dilakukan. Penulis melakukan observasi dan eksperimen visual yang berlandasan kepada kata kunci tersebut. Hasil nya adalah gaya buku visual serius, simple, namun dramatis dalam penggunaan ilustrasi dan fotografi didalamnya.
Buku visual ini berisi latar belakang orang Bali, Sejarah, kesenian, hingga pandangan masyarakat Bali dalam sehari-hari kepada hal-hal mistis tersebut dan juga daftar dari makhluk-makhluk mistis tersebut. Terakhir buku ini juga menjelaskan perbedaan antara leak dan black magic yang sering kali tertukar.

The culture and customs of the Balinese people are very close in their daily lives. There is a belief that has been embedded in the person of the Balinese people. Almost all of these beliefs have interesting story and cultural origins. But not many publications from the beliefs of the Balinese. In addition, many of the tourists both local and foreign who do not understand and heed the local customs. Often these beliefs are considered superstition without respect.
This design uses several methods such as literature review and interviews. The initial method is a literature review where this method aims to get basic information as a guide in making books. Interviews with informants are conducted after the writer gets a general description of the material. After that the writer determines the concept of "dramatic and strong" based on research that has been done. The author makes observations and visual experiments based on these keywords. The result is a serious, simple, yet dramatic visual book style in the use of illustrations and photography in it.
This visual book contains Balinese background, history, art, to the everyday views of Balinese people on these mystical things and also a list of these mystical creatures. Finally, this book also explains the difference between leak and black magic which is often confused.
