Abstract
Sejalan dengan banyaknya mahasiswa MMT-ITS yang berasal dari luar kota dan menempuh
bidang pendidikan S2 di kampus MMT-ITS, dalam jangka panjang ke depan kampus MMT-ITS akan
mengalami kendala dengan semakin banyaknya mahasiswa yang sedang menempuh perkuliahan di
MMT-ITS, dan akan menimbulkan banyaknya suatu acara - acara yang akan muncul, seperti : Dies
natalis, seminar, dan lain lain., untuk itu kampus MMT-ITS membutuhkan suatu guesthouse sebagai
fasilitas penunjang yang representative dan mampu memfasilitasi kebutuhan tamu yang mengikuti acara-
acara di kampus MMT-ITS maupun sebagai tempat transit, beristirahat, melepas lelah ,dan lain lain.
Metode Desain yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data yang dilaksanakan secara langsung
maupun tidak langsung. Wawancara dan pengamatan langsung ke lapangan untuk mengetahui apa yang
dibutuhkan. Sedangkan studi pustaka, buku literatur, dan media internet mengenai rancangan desain
interior guesthouse MMT-ITS Surabaya. Merupakan cara untuk mendapatakan data pendukung, standar
perancangan, perkembangan desain dan referensi tentang objek yang diperlukan. Data yang sudah didapat
akan dilaksanakan dengan analisa deskriptif.
Hasil yang didapatkan dari desain interior ini adalah, rancangan desain interior guesthouse MMT-ITS
Surabaya dengan menerapkan konsep Eco-Friendly dengan tema modern sebagai sarana atau tempat
tinggal sementara yang cocok dan nyaman bagi mahasiswa maupun masyarakat umum

Along with the many students MMT-ITS coming from outside the city and take in
college education S2 MMT-ITS, in the long-term future. Campus MMT-ITS will be constrained
by the increasing number of students who are taking classes in MMT-ITS, and will give rise to a
number of events - events that would arise, such as: Seminars, and others., to the campus MMTITS
requires
a
guesthouse
as
a
representative
and
support
facilities
that
are
able
to
facilitate
the
needs
of guests who follow events in MMT-ITS and the campus as a place of transit, relax,
unwind, and others.
Design methods used include data collection is held directly or indirectly. Interviews and
observations directly into the field to find out what is needed. While the literature study,
literature books, and the internet media design to know interior design of guesthouse MMT-ITS.
Is a way to get his supporting data, design standards, design and development of object
references required. The data that have been obtained will be carried out by descriptive analysis.
The result of this is interior design, how to design a guesthouse MMT-ITS by applying the
concept of Eco-Friendly with a modern theme as a means or place of residence suitable and
convenient for students and the general public
