Abstract
Media merupakan salah satu alat utama dalam persebaran komunikasi secara massal,
dan pada kehidupan sehari-hari kehadiran media telah menjadi sumber informasi maupun
sumber hiburan bagi masyarakat. Media massa elektronik yang memiliki lingkup siar terluas
tentu juga harus menawarkan konten siaran yang bermutu agar dapat dinikmati khalayak luas.
Terlebih lagi masing-masing media massa elektronik seperti Televisi, Radio, maupun Portal
Online memiliki medium tersendiri dalam penyampaian siarannya. Disini terdapat potensi
apabila menggabungkan proses dan aktivitas dari ketiga media massa tersebut dalam satu
fasilitas media dan penyiaran yang terpadu. Dengan Pusat Media dan Penyiaran, diharapkan
dapat memproduksi program acara dengan konten yang terkait antara Televisi, Radio,
maupun Portal Berita dalam satu manajemen yang sama, sehingga mampu meningkatkan
kualitas produksi siarannya.
Pendekatan tema sinergi dipilih sebagai sarana utama untuk menangani isu-isu desain
yang muncul akibat upaya untuk penggabungan ketiga media massa ini. Isu utama yang harus
diperhatikan berupa isu sirkulasi yang mengatur hubungan antar komponen aktivitas, dan isu
teritorial yang berkaitan dengan pengaturan zona-zona berdasarkan tingkat interaksinya.

The Media is one of the main tools in the spread of mass communication, and in daily
basis the presence of media has been a source of information and entertainment for society.
Electronic mass media -which has the widest scope of transmition, would also have to offer a
good quality content so that it can be enjoyed by the community. Moreover, each electronic
mass media such as television, Radio, or online web had a means of its own in the delivery
of brodcasting. There lies the potential in combining the processes and activities of the three
mass media in one integrated facilities. Pusat Media dan Penyiaran is expected to be able to
produce shows and programs with associated content between television, Radio, and online
web in one management, therefore improving the quality of its broadcast production.
The approach of synergy theme was chosen as the primary means to address the
design issues that arise as a result of efforts to merge all three of these mass media. The main
issues that must be considered include: circulation issue that regulating the relationship
between components of activity, and territorial issues relating to setting up zones based on
the level of their interaction.
