Abstract

Reasonal DE GmbH adalah sebuah perusahaan startup yang bergerak di bidang layanan dan teknologi informasi. Perusahaan ini didirikan berdasarkan topik penelitian dari kedua pendirinya, yang dulu sedang menempuh jenjang studi doktor. Reasonal DE GmbH menyediakan layanan plugin pada browser seperti google chrome, yang dapat digunakan untuk menyimpan entries atau logs dari suatu artikel. Entry berisi informasi tentang penerbit, indikator konsistensi dalam menautkan ke konten penerbit di website, dan informasi relevan lainnya tentang konten itu sendiri. Plugin ini dapat dipasang dan dipakai secara gratis oleh siapapun.
Meskipun plugin telah berfungsi dengan baik, Reasonal tetap berusaha untuk memperbaiki dan mengembangkan plugin tersebut. Untuk mengetahui perkembangan dari plugin ini, mereka membutuhkan statistik mengenai pemakaian, serta performa dari plugin Reasonal. Statistik pemakaian meliputi sumber penggunaan alamat website entry yang dibuat Reasonal, berapa banyak entries yang dibuat oleh seorang pengguna, hingga response time dari plugin Reasonal ketika digunakan.
Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan evaluasi kinerja algoritma plugin Reasonal, serta membuat visualisasi data yang berisi performa maupun detail pemakaian pengguna plugin. Visualisasi data akan menggunakan metode bar graph, lalu mengevaluasi kinerja berdasarkan graph yang dihasilkan. Saya membuat graph dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman python yang dikerjakan di website google colab, sehingga dapat mempermudah pengecekan berkala dari pembimbing lapangan. Data yang digunakan telah disediakan oleh perusahaan, dan tidak diperkenankan untuk disebarluaskan ke publik.

Reasonal DE GmbH is a startup company working in information technology and services. This company was founded based on the research topics of the two founders, who were currently pursuing doctoral studies. Reasonal DE GmbH provides a browser plugin such as google chrome, which can be used to store entries or logs of articles. The entry contains information about the publisher, indicators of consistency in linking to publisher content on the website, and other relevant information about the content itself. This plugin can be installed and used free of charge by anyone.
Even though the plugin has worked well, Reasonal is still trying to improve and develop the plugin. To know the progress of this plugin, they need statistics about the usage and performance of the Reasonal plugin. Usage statistics include the source of usage for the entry website address made by Reasonal, how many entries a user makes, to the response time of the Reasonal plugin when used.
Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the Reasonal plugin algorithm, as well as to create data visualizations that contain the performance and details of plugin user usage. Data visualization will use the bar graph method, then evaluate the performance based on the resulting graph. I created a graph using the python programming language which was done on the google colab website, so that it could make it easier for periodic checks from the field supervisor. The data used has been provided by the company, and is not permitted to be disseminated to the public.
