Abstract
Dalam rangka pelaksanaan PPDB SMP Sidoarjo tahun ajaran 2020/2021 yang dilaksanakan melalui mekanisme dalam jaringan/online dan luar jaringan/offline, tim ITS bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Sidoarjo menyusun sebuah aplikasi berbasis web. Aplikasi ini adalah Aplikasi Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) yang merupakan aplikasi untuk melakukan manajemen penerimaan peserta didik baru SMP negeri di Sidoarjo. Sistem ini dapat memfalisitasi tiga jenis pengguna dengan lebih mudah. Pengguna sistem informasi antara lain operator dinas, operator sekolah, dan pendaftar. Dengan adanya Aplikasi PPDB ini, diharapkan kegiatan pendaftaran peserta didik baru menjadi lebih praktis, mudah dan seluruh pengguna dapat mengikuti proses pendaftaran yang sedang berlangsung

In the context of implementing PPDB SMP Sidoarjo for the 2020/2021 academic year which is carried out through online / online and offline / offline mechanisms, the ITS team is working with the Sidoarjo Regency Education Office to compile a web-based application. This application is the New Student Admissions Application (PPDB) which is an application for managing the admission of new students at state junior high schools in Sidoarjo. This system can facilitate three types of users more easily. Information system users include service operators, school operators and registrants. With this PPDB application, it is hoped that the registration of new students will be more practical, easier and all users can follow the ongoing registration process.
