Abstract

Munculnya semburan lumpur di Porong, Sidoarjo, yang
terletak di lokasi kegiatan eksplorasi gas PT. Lapindo Brantas
memberikan dampak negatif untuk penduduk setempat dan
lingkungannya, salah satu dampaknya yakni deformasi.
Dalam dinamika bumi, permukaan tanah akan selalu
mengalami deformasi dengan berbagai macam faktor
penyebab. Seiring perkembangan teknologi, RADAR (Radio
Detection and Ranging) merupakan salah satu teknologi
penginderaan jauh yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk mengamati
deformasi tanah. Dalam penelitian ini diterapkan metode
DInSAR (Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture
Radar) untuk mendapatkan besar deformasi dengan ketelitian
mencapai sub-sentimeter. Data yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini adalah empat buah citra satelit ALOS/PALSAR
(Februari 2008, Januari 2009, dan Februari 2010 dan
Januari 2011) yang kemudian diproses secara Differentialvi
Interferometri SAR (DInSAR) hingga didapatkan besar
deformasi pada radius 1.5 km dari pusat semburan.
Hasil metode DInSAR menunjukkan deformasi vertikal
yang terjadi di sekitar wilayah semburan bervariasi,
dibeberapa lokasi mengalami subsidence dan beberapa
mengalami uplift, tergantung peristiwa yang terjadi pada
kurun waktu tersebut. Deformasi yang terjadi pada tahun
2008-2011 memiliki rentang 0 – 10 dan 0 - -10 cm di bagian
utara, 0 - -20 cm di bagian selatan, 0 - -20 cm di bagian barat,
dan 0 – 10 dan 0 - -10 cm di bagian timur. Untuk mengetahui
kebenaran atau keakuratan metode DInSAR dalam mengamati
penurunan tanah maka dilakukan analisa dengan
membandingkan beberapa penelitian lain terkait deformasi

The emergence of mudflow in Porong, Sidoarjo, which
is located at the site of a gas exploration activities by PT.
Lapindo Brantas causing negative impact on the local
population and the environment, deformation was then one of
negative impact. In the dynamics of the earth, the ground will
always be deformed with many factors. Along with the
development of technology, RADAR (Radio Detection and
Ranging) is one of the remote sensing technologies which can
be used to monitor deformation around the mudflow. This
study applying DInSAR method (Differential Interferometric
Synthetic Aperture Radar) for obtain a large deformation with
sub-centimeter accuracy. This study using four satellite
imagery ALOS/ PALSAR (February 2008, January 2009 and
February 2010 and January 2011) which is then processed
with Differential SAR Interferometry (DInSAR) to obtain a
large deformation at a radius of 1.5 km from the center of
mudflow.viii
The results of DInSAR method indicating a vertical
deformation that occurs around the area bursts vary, in some
locations there are subsidence and uplift, depending on the
events that occurred in that period. Deformation that occurred
in the year 2008-2011 has a range of 0-10 and 0 - -10 cm in
the north, 0 - -20 cm in the south, 0 - -20 cm in the west, and
0-10 and 0 - -10 cm in the eastern part. To know the truth or
accuracy of the method DInSAR observed a decrease in soil
analysis is carried out by comparing several other studies
related deformation Lapindo mud
