Abstract

Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) bukan saja dianggap sebagai pelengkap bisnis
melainkan juga bisa menjadi penentu keberhasilan suatu bisnis. Suatu perusahaan logistik di
daerah Bandung yaitu PT. Pos Logistik Indonesia atau Poslog sedang mengadopsi TIK berupa
aplikasi sistem manajemen transportasi yang disebut Polimoda. Namun, dalam proses
penerapannya masih belum efektif. Hal ini terjadi disebabkan aplikasi Polimoda itu sendiri yang
mungkin belum siap secara sistematis untuk diluncurkan atau kurang siapnya SDM dalam
menggunakan dan menerima kehadiran Polimoda.
Penelitian potensi keberhasilan penerapan aplikasi Polimoda dari “sisi supply” dilakukan
dengan mengukur Tingkat Kesiapan Teknologi, menggunakan Technology Readiness Level
(TRL). Sementara itu, pada “sisi demand”, aspek yang dianalisis adalah kesiapan pengguna
(adopter) dengan metode Technology Readiness Index (TRI) dan penerimaan penggunaan
teknologi dengan metode Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Secara keseluruhan, kerangka
pendekatan ini terintegrasi melalui konsep “Difusi Inovasi” yang diperkenalkan oleh Rogers
(2003). Untuk mencari faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap variabel laten menggunakan
analisis faktor.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesiapan teknologi Polimoda berada pada level 9
dengan indikator yang terpenuhi sebesar 80 persen. Hasil analisis faktor untuk variabel TRI
terbentuk oleh 2 faktor dengan item optimism dan innovativeness, hasil ini sejalan dengan teori
Parasuraman (2000). Variabel TAM terbentuk oleh 2 faktor dengan item perceived of usefullness
dan perceived of ease of use, hasil ini sejalan dengan teori Davis et al, (1989). Proses difusi inovasi
Polimoda di perusahaan, masing-masing dipengaruhi oleh konstruk elemen difusi yang terbentuk
oleh 3 faktor yaitu saluran komunikasi, waktu dan sistem sosial. Konstruk karakteristik inovasi
yang terbentuk oleh 4 faktor yaitu relative advantages, compability, triability dan observability.
Sedangkan konstruk kategori adopter terbentuk oleh 5 faktor yaitu innovator, early adopter, early
majority, late majority dan laggards. Secara keseluruhan, hasil difusi inovasi ini sejalan dengan
teori Rogers (2003).
Strategi yang dapat dilakukan perusahaan untuk meningkatkan proses adopsi dan difusi inovasi
polimoda dari sagi TKT yaitu penggunaan Polimoda secara merata di seluruh cabang Poslog seIndonesia dan meningkatkan kemudahaan serta manfaat Polimoda. Sedangkan dari segi SDM
perusahaan dapat melakukan sosiasilasi dan evaluasi terhadap penggunaan Polimoda untuk
meningkatkan rasa optimis dan kepercayaan diri adopter dalam menggunakan Polimoda.

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is not only considered as a complement
to the business but also can be a determinant of the success of the business. A logistics company
in Bandung area, namely PT. Pos Logistik Indonesia or commonly abbreviated as Poslog, is
adopting an ICT of a transportation management system application called Polimoda. However,
in the process of implementing this applicationt, there are the problems such as human resources
who did not input data routinely. This occurs due to the Polimoda application may not be
systematically ready for launch or the HR is not ready to use and accept the Polimoda.
Research on the potential success of the Polimoda as the "supply-side" will be carried out
by measuring the technology readiness level using the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) method.
Meanwhile, on the "demand-side", the aspects to be analyzed are the readiness of users (adopters)
with "Technology Readiness Index" (TRI) method and the acceptance of of the technology
introduced using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Overall, the framework for this
approach is integrated through the concept of "Diffusion of Innovations" introduced by Rogers
(2003). To find out the factors affect the talent variables using factor analysis.
The results showed that the technology readiness level of Polimoda was at level 9 with
indicators that are fullfilment by 80%. The results of the factor analysis for the TRI variable are
formed by 2 factors with item optimism and innovation, the results are suitable according to the
opinion of Parasuraman's (2000) theory. TAM variable is formed by 2 factors with items perceived
of usefulness and perceived ease of use, the results are suitable according to the opinion of Davis
et al (1989). For the diffusion process of Polimoda, each of influenced by the diffusion element
construct which is formed by 3 factors with items of communication channel, time and social
system. Innovation characteristic construct which is formed by 4 factors with items of relative
advantages, compatibility, triability and observability. While the construct of the adopter category
is formed by 5 factors with the item innovator, early adopter, early majority, late majority and
laggards. Overall the diffusion innovation results in this research are suitable according to the
opinion of Rogers (2003).
The strategy that companies can take to improve the process of adoption and diffusion of
Innovation of Polimoda, from TKT aspects is using Polimoda in all Poslog branches in Indonesia,
and make an Polimoda ease to use and give a benefits for adopter. Meanwhile, in human resources
aspects, the company can conduct the socialization and evaluation of Polimoda uses, to increase
the sense of optimism confidence of adopters to using Polimoda.
