Abstract
Pelabuhan adalah tempat yang terdiri atas daratan dan/ atau perairan dengan batasbatas tertentu sebagai tempat kegiatan pemerintahan dan kegiatan pengusahaan yang dipergunakan sebagai tempat kapal bersandar, naik turun penumpang, dan/atau bongkar muat barang, berupa terminal dan tempat berlabuh kapal yang dilengkapi dengan fasilitas keselamatan dan keamanan pelayaran dan kegiatan penunjang Pelabuhan serta sebagai tempat perpindahan intra dan antarmoda transportasi. Terminal Berlian merupakan terminal milik PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (PT. BJTI) yang merupakan salah satu Anak Perusahaan dari PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero). Terminal Berlian tergolong sangat aktif hingga saat ini, dapat dilihat dari rasio arus petikemas dengan luas lapangan penumpukannya. Rata-rata arus traffic pada Terminal Berlian ini terus mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya. Namun, dermaga Terminal Berlian yang telah dibangun sejak masa kolonial belanda ini diduga mengalami kebocoran pada kaison eksistingnya. Karena usia dermaga yang sudah sangat tua sedangkan dermaga ini tergolong sangat aktif dalam kegiatan bongkarmuat, pasir kaison eksisting mulai keluar ke sisi laut dan menyebabkan aktivitas dermaga eksisting kurang maksimal. Sehingga dilakukan Perkuatan Struktur Dermaga Terminal Berlian Pelabuhan Tanjung Perak pada tanggal 14 November 2019

Port is a place that consist of land and waters, with a certain boundaries as a place for government and business activities that are used as a place for ships to dock, board and / or unload goods, in the form of terminals and berths equipped with safety and security facilities, and port supporting activities as well as a place for intra and intermodal transportation. Berlian port is a terminal owned by PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (PT. BJTI) which is a subsidiary of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero). Berlian port is classified as very active port until now, it can be seen from the ratio of container flow to the area of its storage area. The average traffic flow at Berlian Terminal keep increasing every year. However, the Berlian Port pier, which has been built since the Dutch colonial era, is suspected of having leaked at the existing emperor. Due to the very old age of the pier, while this pier is classified as very active in loading and unloading activities, the existing caisson sand starts to come out to the sea side and causes the existing pier activity to be less than optimal. So that the pier structure of the Berlian Port, Tanjung Perak was strengthened on November 14, 2019 as a project from PT. PP (Persero) Tbk.
