Abstract

PT. Pertamina RU III Plaju merupakan perusahaan milik negara yang bergerak di bidang perminyakan. Saat ini, proteksi pada sistem kelistrikannya masih memiliki kesalahan setting koordinasi karena masih menggunakan metode trial and error, hal ini dirasa cukup menghabiskan waktu dan tidak praktis. Oleh karena itu, pada tugas akhir ini penulis membahas bagaimana cara menentukan setting rele arus lebih menggunakan metode Numerical Computation untuk mendapatkan hasil yang optimal terutama untuk penentuan nilai time dial setting dan penentuan jenis kurva time-current characteristic pada sistem kelistrikan PT Pertamina RU III Plaju sehingga diharapkan akan lebih mudah mencari nilai setting sehingga dapat menghindari kerusakan-kerusakan pada peralatan listrik

PT. Pertamina RU III Plaju is a state-owned company engaged in petroleum. Currently, the protection of the electrical system still has a setting error because it is still using the trial and error method, this is quite time consuming and impractical. Therefore, in this final project discusses how to determine the overcurrent release setting using the Numerical Calculation method to get optimal results, especially for determining the value of the time dial setting and determining the type of characteristic time curve in the electrical system of PT Pertamina RU III Plaju so that it is expected that more easy to find value so as to avoid damage to electrical equipment.
