Abstract

Engine maintenance termasuk salah satu tipe heavy maintenance pada aircraft. Pelanggan mengirimkan engine untuk dirawat sesuai dengan workscope. Kesepakatan waktu penyelesaian perawatan, atau yang disebut turn around time, telah disepakati sebelum proyek berjalan, dihitung dari besaran workscope. Permasalahan pada perawatan engine terjadi saat proses inpeksi setelah proses disassembly. Beberapa modul yang ditemukan mengalami kerusakan memerlukan keputusan dari engineer dan persetujuan pelanggan untuk melakukan tambahan pekerjaan atau upgrade workscope. Pada saat persetujuan upgrade workscope, pelanggan memerlukan kepastian waktu dan biaya tambahan untuk menyetujui proposal tersebut, serta memerlukan pelaporan progress yang akurat untuk memonitor status perawatan agar dapat sesuai dengan fleet management para pelanggan.
Dinas Engine Services di salah satu MRO di Indonesia memiliki tools untuk mengelola proyek perawatan engine berbasis teknik CPM dan MRP, menggunakan tools yang bernama SWIFT-SAP Complex Maintenance. Pada implementasinya, tools yang digunakan lebih fokus dalam sistem integrasi agar biaya yang telah terpakai dalam proyek tercatat seluruhnya. Tools ini baru mampu memaparkan gantt chart initial planning. Jika terdapat pergeseran dari jadwal inisial karena adanya uncertainty task hasil dari inspeksi, maka assign task untuk pekerjaan selanjutnya dilakukan secara manual oleh planner sehingga gantt chart otomatis tergeser tanpa mengetahui deviasi-deviasi yang terjadi dalam proyek sehingga project manager melakukan pencatatan deviasi schedule di masing-masing gate menggunakan laporan terpisah.
Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode earned value management dan earned schedule. Penelitian menunjukkan earned value, planned value, dan actual cost dapat menunjukkan sinyal apakah proyek melewati rencana, on track, ataukah selesai sebelum target penyelesaian, Cost performance index mencapai kestabilan saat proyek APU telah mencapai 50% penyelesaian dan schedule performance index mencapai kestabilan saat proyek mencapai 70%. Estimasi waktu penyelesaian proyek menghasilkan akurasi sebesar 93,81%.

Engine maintenance is a kind of aircraft heavy maintenance. Customers send their aircraft engine to be maintained refer to workscope. Maintenance duration, as known as turn around time, has been agreed before starting the project, calculated from the workscope. Problems occur in heavy maintenance when the disassembled part in inspection process. There is finding in some modules and needs decision from engineer and customer approval for workscope upgrading. In a process of upgrade workscope approval, customer needs turn around time estimation and cost accuracy to approve the proposal, and needs accurate progress monitoring tools to monitor the maintenance status for their fleet management input.
Engine Services Department has tools to manage engine maintenance project based on CPM and MRP technique, using SWIFT-SAP Complex Maintenance. In the implementation, this tools is focused in the cost integration in order to make the cost is fully recorded and to manage the cost efficient. For the whole project management, this tools is limited to describe the initial planning gantt chart. If there is a shifting from the initial schedule due to the uncertainty task from inspection result, then the assign task should be done manually by planner, as a consequence the is shifted without knowing the original plan, so project manager do the record of the deviation in a different sheet and cannot analyze the difference automatically. The needs of project monitoring and the deviation calculation needs to be analyzed and developed to control how far the project phase development.
This research has been done using the earned value management and earned schedule method for the extension. This research shows that earned value, planned value, and actual cost can represent whether project is above schedule, on track, or behind schedule. cost performance index stability in this project is in 50% project completion and schedule performance index stability reach in 70% project completion. Forecast duration accuracy in this research is 93,81%.
