Abstract
Persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat dan target yang sangat menantang di era digital saat ini mendorong perusahaan untuk selalu berinovasi dalam kegiatan bisnisnya. Salah satu inovasi yang sering dilakukan perusahaan adalah melakukan ekspansi ke bidang lain yang bukan merupakan bisnis utamanya. Dalam menjalankan bisnis barunya terutama yang berupa proyek, seringkali perusahaan belum mengimplementasikan aspek pengetahuan manajemen proyek. Memperhatikan pentingnya implementasi pengetahuan manajemen proyek terhadap kesuksesan proyek, penulis melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui aspek pengetahuan manajemen proyek yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kesuksesan proyek non-core pada perusahaan. Sebagai studi kasus, penulis mengamati unit Government & Enterprise Service (GES) wilayah telekomunikasi (witel) Telkom Surabaya yang berinisiatif mengambil proyek yang bersifat non-core yakni konstruksi dalam rentang waktu 2018-2019. Jabatan struktural yang berfungsi sebagai Project Management Office (PMO) sendiri baru dialokasikan pada tahun 2019 di unit tersebut. Model penelitian ini didadasarkan pada framework Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) yang dikeluarkan oleh PMI. Dalam penelitian ini analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dan Importance-Performane Analysis (IPA). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah aspek pengetahuan manajemen proyek sebagai variabel bebas dan kesuksesan proyek sebagai variabel terikat. Hasil analisis PLS-SEM dan IPA menunjukkan bahwa aspek pengetahuan manajemen proyek secara komprehensif memiliki korelasi positif terhadap kesuksesan proyek yang bersifat non-core pada perusahaan. Posisi masing-masing aspek pengetahuan manejemen proyek dalam kuadran IPA memberikan pemahaman di level manajerial untuk menentukan prioritas pengelolaan sumber daya.

Increasingly tighter business competition and very challenging targets in today's digital era encourage companies to always innovate in their business activities. One of the innovations that companies often make is expanding to other fields that are not their main business. In running a new business, especially in the form of a project, companies often have not implemented the knowledge aspect of project management. Noting the importance of implementing project management knowledge on project success, the authors conducted a study aimed at finding out which aspects of project management knowledge most influence the success of non-core projects in the company. As a case study, the author observes the Telkom Surabaya telecommunication area Government & Enterprise Service (GES) unit which took the initiative to take non-core projects, namely construction in the 2018-2019 timeframe. A structural position that functions as the Project Management Office (PMO) itself has only been allocated in 2019 to this unit. This research model is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) framework issued by PMI. In this study, data analysis was carried out using the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) and Importance-Performane Analysis (IPA) methods. The data used in this research are knowledge aspects of project management as the independent variable and project success as the dependent variable. The results of the PLS-SEM and IPA analysis show that the comprehensive knowledge aspect of project management has a positive correlation to the success of non-core projects in the company. The position of each aspect of project management knowledge in the IPA quadrant provides insight at the managerial level to determine resource management priorities.
