Abstract
PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi kembang gula dengan model bisnis business-to-business (B2B) dan proses make-to-order berdasarkan pesanan dari mitra di luar negeri. Untuk meningkatkan proses bisnisnya, PT. XYZ ingin menggunakan Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). PT. XYZ telah mengadakan proyek implementasi ERP Odoo 10 dengan metode Accelerated SAP. Namun, implementasinya belum benar-benar tuntas dan saat ini masih berada di tahapan realization. PT. XYZ belum menjalankan tahapan final preparation dan go-live and support. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut. Karena PT. XYZ membutuhkan implementasi yang tuntas, maka tugas akhir ini melanjutkan proyek implementasi yang berlangsung sehingga ERP Odoo 10 dapat Go-Live di PT. XYZ. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian tugas akhir ini adalah Action Design Research, yaitu metode yang memadukan antara Action Research dan Design Research. Tahap pertama yang dilakukan adalah formulasi masalah. Hasil dari tahapan ini, PT. XYZ sebenarnya belum siap menerapkan ERP dengan skor sebanyak 0,64 dari nilai maksimal 1. Selain itu, PT. XYZ memiliki beberapa poin ketidaksiapan. Kemudian, tahap selanjutnya adalah tiga kali iterasi building, intervention, dan evaluation. Pada iterasi pertama, dilakukan migrasi data yang belum lengkap dan perkenalan ERP Odoo 10 terhadap pengguna. Pada iterasi kedua, dilakukan pembetulan konfigurasi untuk menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan PT. XYZ dan perkenalan fungsi-fungsi selain fungsi utama di ERP Odoo 10. Pada iterasi ketiga, dilakukan tahap finishing terhadap ERP Odoo 10 dan pelatihan terakhir sekaligus user acceptance testing. Kemudian, dijelaskan juga refleksi dan pembelajaran terhadap jalannya proyek implementasi dan kendala saat go-live. Berdasarkan isu-isu yang terjadi selama jalannya proyek implementasi dan go-live, dilakukan analisis terhadap akar permasalahan dan rekomendasi yang dapat diberikan kepada PT. XYZ. Rekomendasi yang bisa diberikan antara lain menyertakan bagaimana menjalankan aktivitas proses bisnis secara keseluruhan (termasuk menggunakan cara manual dan ERP Odoo 10) dalam pelatihan, melibatkan pengguna melalui pelatihan dan komunikasi, meluangkan waktu lebih untuk pengujian, melibatkan pengguna saat pengujian, menanggalkan sistem lama ketika ERP Odoo 10 sudah mantap digunakan, menyatukan data-data, menyamakan format data, melakukan tata kelola data, dan melakukan rekayasa ulang seperlunya terhadap proses bisnis yang terdampak ERP Odoo 10.

PT. XYZ is a manufacturing company that produces candy with a business-to-business (B2B) business model and does make-to-order to process orders from overseas partners. PT. XYZ wants to use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to improve its business process. PT. XYZ has already conducted Odoo 10 implementation project using the Accelerated SAP method. However, the implementation is not complete yet, and it is still in the realization phase. PT. XYZ has not executed the final preparation and go-live and support phase. This undergraduate thesis aims to solve the stated problem. This undergraduate thesis will continue the implementation project so that Odoo 10 can go-live in PT. XYZ. This undergraduate thesis uses Action Design Research as a method. It is a method that combines Action Research method and Design Research method. The first step is doing the problem formulation. From this step, it was found that PT. XYZ is actually not ready to implement ERP with a readiness score of 0,64 from 1. Besides that, PT. XYZ also has some unreadiness points. Then, the next step is three iterations of building, intervention, and evaluation. On the first iteration, data migration is done to complete the data migration from the previous phase. Also, training is conducted to introduce users to Odoo 10. On the second iteration, configuration fixings are done to adjust to the company’s needs. On the third iteration, the finishing of Odoo 10 is done, and the last training and user acceptance testing are done. Then, reflection and learning towards the implementation project and issues during go-live are also explained. Based on the issues that occurred during the implementation project and go-live phase, analysis towards root causes and recommendations. The recommendations that can be given to PT. XYZ i.a. to include in training how overall business processes are conducted along with Odoo 10, to involve users with training and communication, to take more time for testing, to involve users in testing, to decline the old system once Odoo 10 is stable enough, to put data together, to synchronize data format, to do data governance, and to do business process reengineering for business processes that are affected by Odoo 10.
