Abstract
Hubungan antara pekerja dan mesin industri di area tempat kerja adalah permasalahan umum dalam dunia industri.proses operasional mesin tidak hanya sampai mesin tersebut menyala, namun bagaimana membuat pekerja merasa aman dalam mengoperasikan mesin tersebut. Penerapan safety diperlukan tidak hanya di pekerja tetapi juga di mesin. Ini adalah konsep Keamanan Mesin.
PT. X adalah perusahaan multinasional yang berkantor pusat di Eropa. PT X memproduksi makanan, minuman, pembersih, dan juga perawatan tubuh. Masalah dasar yang terjadi di PT X sehingga menyebabkan pentingnya diadakan Sistem Keamanan Mesin adalah Penerapan “Zero Accident” sebagai target dan tujuan dari PT.X yang akan dilaporkan kepada manajemen setiap tahunnya.
ISO 12100:2010 dan ISO 13849-1:2006 adalah salah satu acuan dari penerapan sistem keamanan pada mesin. ISO 12100 adalah dasar dalam penilaian risiko pada mesin, menggunakan STI metodologi dalam menentukan nilai risiko dimana nilai severity,probability,frekuensi dan jumlah operator menjadi faktor yang perlu dilakukan penilaian. ISO 13849-1 dan Bowtie tools yang digunakan dalam pengurangan risiko, sehingga dapat diketahui nilai performa level part yang harus digunakan serta tindakan preventif dan kuratif yang akan dilakukan pada risiko tersebut.
Hasil penelitian ini didapat 3 hazard medium dan 9 hazard high di mesin case packer, serta 1 hazard medium dan 5 hazard high di mesin robot paletizing. Dengan menggudakan ISO 13849-1 dan bowtie diagram untuk pengurangan risiko, maka didapat 2 hazard low dan 10 hazard medium di mesin case packer, serta 5 hazard medium dan 1 hazard high di mesin robot paletizing. Pemasangan safety control system dan penggunaan APD adalah upaya preventif yang paling banyak digunakan untuk mencegah terjadinya kecelakaan kerja, sedangakan pemasangan emergency stop adalah upaya kuratif yang paling banyak dilakukan ketika terjadi kecelakaan kerja.

The relationship between workers and industrial machines in the workplace area is a common problem in the industrial world. The operational process of machines is not only until the machine starts, but how to make workers feel safe in operating the machine. The application of safety is needed not only in workers but also in machines. It is a Machine Safety concept.
PT. X is a multinational company headquartered in Europe. PT X produces food, beverages, cleansers, and also personal care. The basic problem that occurred in PT X that led to the importance of establishing a Machine Security System was the application of "Zero Accident" as the target and objective of PT.X which would be reported to management every year.
ISO 12100: 2010 and ISO 13849-1: 2006 is one of the references for implementing a safety system on a machine. ISO 12100 is the basis for risk assessment on machines, using the STI methodology in determining the value of risk where the severity, probability, frequency and number of operators are factors that need to be assessed. ISO 13849-1 and Bowtie tools are used in risk reduction, so it can be seen the part level performance value that must be used as well as the preventive and curative actions that will be carried out at that risk.
The results of this study obtained 3 medium hazards and 9 hazard highs in case packer machines, as well as 1 medium hazard and 5 hazard highs in the palletizing robot machine. By using ISO 13849-1 and bowtie diagrams for risk reduction, 2 hazards low and 10 medium hazards are obtained in the case packer machine, as well as 5 medium hazards and 1 high hazard in the palletizing robot machine. The installation of a safety control system and the use of PPE are the most widely used preventive measures to prevent work accidents, while the installation of an emergency stop is a curative effort that is mostly done when a work accident occurs.
