Abstract

Sistem hidroponik merupakan sistem yang sangat efektif untuk memproduksi tanaman. Kunci utama pengaturan sistem hidroponik adalah pengendalian nilai EC karena terkait langsung dengan nutrisi tanaman sehingga mempengaruhi hasil akhir produksi tanaman. Dalam penelitian ini, dibandingkan dua metode pemodelan FOPDT (First Order Plus Dead Time) yaitu metode Smith dan Nishikawa dan ditemukan nilai MAPE masing masing 1,72 dan 4,5 sehingga dalam penelitian ini metode Smith lebih baik digunakan untuk memodelkan sistem. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan proses kontrol dan perancangan kontrol PID dengan dua metode tuning PID yaitu Tuning Ziegler-Nichols First Method dan Tuning Approximate M-constrained integral gain Optimisation (AMIGO). Hasil perbandingan kedua metode tuning menghasilkan karakteristik tuning AMIGO lebih baik dengan waktu rise time selama 370.406, waktu settling time selama 630.3961 dan nilai Error Steady state nya sebesar 0.01%.

The hydroponic system is a very effective system for producing plants. The main key to regulate the hydroponic system is by controlling the EC value. That is because the hydroponic system directly related to plant nutrition so that it affects the crop production. In this study, two modeling methods were compared, namely the Smith and Nishikawa methods. It was found that the MAPE values were 1,72 and 4,5 respectively. So that in this study, the Smith method was better used to model the system. In this study, the PID control process was also carried out with two PID tuning methods, namely Ziegler-Nichols First Tuning Method and AMIGO (Approximate M-constrained integral gain Optimization) tuning method. The comparison of the two tuning methods concluded that AMIGO tuning is better than Smith method. The characteristics of AMIGO tuning method in this study are explained by rise time = 370.406 and settling time = 630.3961 with Error Steady state = 0.01%.
