Abstract

The separation of gravity anomalies in this study uses the moving average method. This method is able to produce anomalous shape and depth in the research area. The moving average method requires an optimal window width value in order to produce regional and residual anomalies in accordance with the geological conditions of the case study. Therefore, to obtain the optimal window width, a spectrum analysis process is carried out. This process will also produce regional and residual depths where regional depth is associated with low frequency while residual depth is associated with high frequency. The case study used is the gravity data of the Gondang area, Bojonegoro where the area has an andesite intrusion anomaly. Based on the spectrum analysis process, the value of window width 33 was obtained with the depth of the regional anomaly obtained was 1721.65 m, while the residual anomaly depth obtained was 125.88 m. With the value of the window width, the moving average method produces regional anomaly values of 12.7 mGal to 90.3 mGal which are compatible with regional physiography. Meanwhile, the residual anomaly obtained a value of 0.5 mGal to 104.3 mGal which shows similarities to the geology of the case study area. However, there are deficiencies in the residual anomaly map results in delineating intrusion anomalies in this case study caused by the moving average process using interpolated data. Residual anomaly data with these deficiencies are still used for 3D inversion modeling which results in a density distribution in the study area with a value range of 1.7 gr / cm3 to 3.0 gr / cm3. The modeling turned out to be able to delineate intrusion anomalies in case studies with a continuation from the south to the middle of the research area with a depth of approximately 500m which is similar to 2D modeling by Aji, et al (2018).
