Abstract

Dalam kegiatan survey klasifikasi di galangan kapal kayu, proses pengisian form survey masih di-input manual pada form berbasis kertas. Pada proses tersebut dirasa kurang aman karena form survey dapat terlipat, rusak, kotor atau bahkan tidak terbaca. Apabila surveyor ingin melakukan peninjauan ulang pada proyek kapal yang sebelumnya telah diselesaikan, surveyor harus mencari arsip form survey satu persatu. Karena form tersebut berupa kertas, penyimpanan form disimpan dalam lemari arsip sehingga kemungkinan form tersebut rusak atau hilang dapat terjadi. Hal tersebut melatarbelakangi penulis untuk merancang aplikasi berbasis android yang berisi form untuk pemeriksaan kesesuaian perhitungan scantling pada kapal kayu berdasarkan aturan BKI Volume VII 2013 mengenai 'Rules for Small Vessel Up to 24 M'. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survey, dimana penulis melakukan observasi pada kegiatan survey klasifikasi di galangan kapal kayu. Analisis dari segi teknis bagian konstruksi, terdapat dua bagian konstruksi yang tidak memenuhi ukuran minimum BKI yakni pada web galar kim dan galar balok. Keduanya memiliki ukuran eksisting yang lebih kecil -17% dibandingkan dengan ketentuan BKI yang sudah dihitung melalui aplikasi. Dalam analisis ekonomis, hasil persentase pengembalian investasi (ROI) pembuatan aplikasi survey sebesar 74.4% dan jangka waktu pengembalian biaya investasi tersebut selama 1 tahun 4 bulan. Hasil NPV didapatkan sebesar Rp. 33.215.277 dimana nilai NPV bernilai positif karena NPV>0, jadi aplikasi ini layak untuk diinvestasikan.

In the classification survey activity at wooden shipyards, the process of filling out the survey form is still manually inputted on a paper form. This process is considered unsafe because the survey form can be folded, damaged, dirty or even illegible. If the surveyor wants to conduct a review on a previously completed ship project, the surveyor must look for the survey form archives one by one. Because the form is in the form of paper, form storage is stored in a filing cabinet so that the possibility of the form being damaged or lost can occur. This is the background for the author to design an android-based application which contains a form for checking the suitability of scantling calculations on wooden ships based on BKI Volume VII 2013 rules regarding 'Rules for Small Vessels Up to 24 M'. The method used in this research is a survey method, where the authors make observations on the classification survey activities in wooden shipyards. Analysis from the technical point of the construction section, there are two construction parts that do not complying the minimum size of the BKI, there are web of galar kim and galar balok. Both existing size smaller -17% than the BKI that have been calculated with the application. In an economic analysis, result of the percentage returns on investment (ROI) of making a survey application is 74.4% and the payback period of the investment cost is 1 year and 4 months. The NPV results is Rp. 33.215.277 where the NPV value is positive because the NPV> 0, so the survey application is worth to invested.
