Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara agraris dimana mayoritas penduduknya merupakan petani yang bekerja pada sektor pertanian dengan berkembangnya sektor pertanian, perkebunan, dan tanaman pangan serta sektor industri lain menyebabkan kebutuhan produk pupuk urea meningkat. Oleh sebab itu, kebutuhan pupuk urea sebagai faktor penunjang sangat diperlukan. Lokasi pabrik direncanakan di Kawasan Industri Kaltim Industrial Estate, Bontang, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Bahan baku utama dalam proses pembuatan pupuk urea adalah amonia cair yang memiliki komposisi sebesar 99,8% NH3 dan 0.2% H2O. Selain itu, terdapat bahan baku penunjang yaitu CO2. Kapasitas produksi pupuk urea ini direncanakan sebesar 570.000 ton urea/tahun. Proses produksi pupuk urea dari ammonia dan CO2 pada pabrik yang akan didirikan menggunakan proses stamicarbon, dimana menggunakan gas CO2 sebagai agen stripping dalam menjalankan prosesnya. Untuk tahapan proses yang pertama adalah persiapan bahan baku kemudian dilanjutkan dengan proses sintesa urea yang terjadi melalui peralatan HPCC, reaktor, dan stripper. Setelah proses sintesa, dilanjutkan dengan proses resirkulasi larutan karbamat dengan yang akan digunakan kembali dengan cara memisahkan dari larutan urea kemudian di resirkulasi kembali ke reaktor. Kemudian dilanjutkan proses pemurnian yaitu memurnikan larutan urea yang masih ada sedikit kandungan karbamat dan reaktan sisa dan meningkatkan kepekatan urea nya. Setelah itu larutan urea pekat dialirkan menuju prilling tower untuk dirubah menjadi bentuk urea prill. Untuk studi kelayakan Pra Desain Pabrik ini, dari segi ekonomi telah dilakukan analisa ekonomi dengan hasil. Total Investasi (TCI) yang didapat adalah sebesar Rp 898.483.250.725,22 dan Net Present Value (NPV) yang didapat adalah sebesar Rp 2.200.043.820.353,20 atau sama dengan positif. Internal Rate of Return (IRR) pabrik ini adalah 38,16%. Dengan waktu pengembalian modal pabrik pada 2,47 tahun. Sedangkan pada analisa sensitifitas, penambahan dan pengurangan harga bahan baku dan harga produk hingga sebanyak 20%. Sehingga berdasarkan analisa-analisa yang telah dilakukan, pabrik urea ini layak untuk didirikan.

Therefore, the need for urea fertilizer as a supporting factor is needed. The factory location is planned in the Kaltim Industrial Estate, Bontang, East Kalimantan Province. The main raw material in the process of making urea fertilizer is liquid ammonia which has a composition of 99.8% NH3 and 0.2% H2O. In addition, there is a supporting raw material, namely CO2. The production capacity of urea fertilizer is planned for 570,000 tons of urea / year. The production process of urea from ammonia and CO2 at the factory to be established uses the stamicarbon process, which uses CO2 gas as a stripping agent in carrying out the process. The first process stage is the preparation of raw materials, then followed by the urea synthesis process that occurs through HPCC equipment, reactors, and strippers. After the synthesis process, it is continued with the recirculation process of the carbamate solution which will be reused by separating it from the urea solution and then recirculating it back to the reactor. Then proceed with the refining process, namely purifying the urea solution which still has a small amount of carbamate and residual reactants and increasing the urea concentration. After that, the concentrated urea solution is flowed into the prilling tower to be converted into the form of urea prill. For the pre-plant design feasibility study, from an economic point of view, an economic analysis has been carried out with the results. The total investment (TCI) obtained was IDR 898,483,250,725.22 and the Net Present Value (NPV) obtained was IDR 2,200,043,820,353.20 or the same as positive. The factory's Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is 38.16%. With a factory payback period of 2.47 years. Meanwhile, in the sensitivity analysis, the addition and reduction of raw material prices and product prices was up to 20%. So that based on the analyzes that have been carried out, this urea factory is feasible to be established.
