Abstract
Filigri merupakan seni atau teknik material logam yang identik dengan perhiasan tradisional karena banyak ditemui pada perhiasan adat. Sementara itu, peminat dan pembeli produk filigri 80% merupakan warga asing dan 20% warga lokal karena masyarakat Indonesia masih asing dengan kata filigri dan teknik perhiasan ini.. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan kemampuan perajin filigri yang mempunyai keterampilan tinggi untuk diferensiasi produk aksesori fashion yang lain selain yang umum dibuat. Produk filigri yang berkembang saat ini hanya berupa perhiasan, miniatur dan hiasan dinding, sehingga varian dan desain produk filigri cenderung sama dari tahun ke tahun. Diferensiasi produk filigri menjadi penting karena menjaga eksistensi produk lebih awet di pasar dan menjaga agar konsumen tetap tertarik dengan produk tersebut. Penelitian dimulai dengan metode observasi di showroom penjualan produk filigri, wawancara dengan desainer dan perajin filigri, melakukan eksperimen material dan motif filigri, melakukan analisis artefak untuk mendapatkan gambar atau pola barang-barang mode yang dimiliki oleh pengguna, melakukan metode “persona” untuk menggambarkan perilaku dan gaya hidup pengguna. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan terdapat lima motif dasar yang diterapkan pada produk filigri. Metode tersebut menghasilkan konsep yang diperoleh yaitu “Flower Power”. Selanjutnya mood board dibuat sebagai panduan desain, dengan mengumpulkan gambar, foto, bahan, tema dan warna yang terkait untuk menentukan bentuk dan ornamen pada kacamata. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan material logam filigri untuk mengetahui motif apa saja yang dapat diterapkan berdasarkan luasan bidang dan kekuatannya, teknik pembuatan ornamen filigri, material kombinasi, finishing, pelapisan, dan pemasangan komponen.

Filigree is an art or metal material technique that is identical to traditional jewelry because it is often found in traditional jewelry. Meanwhile, 80% of filigree enthusiasts and buyers are foreigners and 20% local residents because Indonesians are still unfamiliar with the word filigree and jewelry techniques. This research aims to optimize the ability of filigree craftsmen who have high skill in differentiating other fashion accessory products besides those that are commonly made. The currently developing filigree products are only in the form of jewelery, miniatures and wall hangings, so the varian and filigree product designs tend to be the same from year to year. The differentiation of filigree products is important because it maintains a more durable product existence in the market and keeps consumers interested in these products. The research begins with the method of observation in the filigree product sales showroom, interviews with designers and filigree craftsmen, conducting experiments on filigree materials and motifs, analyzing artefacts to obtain images or patterns of fashion items owned by users, using the "persona" method to describe behavior, and the user's lifestyle. From the data obtained, there are five basic motives applied to filigree products. This method resulted in the concept obtained, namely "Flower Power". Furthermore, the mood board was created as a design guide, by collecting images, photos, materials, themes and colors related to determining the shape and ornament of the glasses. Experiments were carried out with filigree metal materials to find out what motifs can be applied based on the area of the field and its strength, techniques for making filigree ornaments, combination materials, finishing, coating, and component installation.
