Abstract
Limbah ekstrak ikan gabus (LEIG) yang dihasilkan oleh PT. Royal Medicalink Pharmalab masih bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomis, sehingga masih bisa diolah menjadi produk pelet. Kombinasi formula pelet yang dibuat yakni bahan dasar : tepung ikan = 50:50, 45:55 dan 40:60. Semua bahan pelet dilakukan fermentasi selama 24 jam. Pelet yang telah dibuat dilakukan uji proksimat dan fisik, selain itu juga dilakukan uji in vivo terhadap ikan C.gariepinus selama 30 hari untuk mengetahui pertumbuhan serta kemampuan daya cerna protein. Uji proksimat pelet (%) K3: kadar air 7.57; abu 15.57; protein 51.21; lemak 5.17; serat 5.95 dan karbohidrat 20.48. Perlakuan K3 (formula 40:60) merupakan kombinasi paling baik, dimana pertambahan panjang dan berat sebesar 4.00 ± 0.11 cm dan 7.99 ± 0.10 gr; kadar protein daging 9.52%; daya cerna protein 76.4%. Hasil uji fisik pelet LEIG untuk daya apung mencapai 5-8 menit; stabilitas dalam air 87-99.12%; kekerasan 97.5-98%; kecepatan pecah 15 menit. Pada semua perlakuan, nilai survival rate 100%. Hasil feed convertion ratio K0 1.44%, K1 1.53%, K2 1.49% dan K3 1.38%.

Snakehead fish extract (LEIG) waste produced by PT. Royal
Medicalink Pharmalab is still useful and has economic value, so it
can still be processed into pellet products. The combination of
pellet formulas made from the basic ingredients: fish meal = 50:50,
45:55 and 40:60. All pellets were fermented for 24 hours. The
pellets that had been made were subjected to proximate and
physical tests, besides that, in vivo tests were also carried out on C.
gariepinus fish for 30 days to determine growth and protein
digestibility. Pellet proximate test (%) K3: moisture content 7.57;
ash 15.57; protein 51.21; fat 5.17; 5.95 fiber and 20.48
carbohydrates. K3 treatment (formula 40:60) was the best
combination, where the increase in length and weight was 4.00 ±
0.11 cm and 7.99 ± 0.10 gr; meat protein content 9.52%; protein
digestibility 76.4%. Physical test results for LEIG pellets for
buoyancy reached 5-8 minutes; stability in water 87-99.12%;
hardness 97.5-98%; breaking speed 15 minutes. In all treatments,
the survival rate was 100%. The results of the feed conversion ratio
are K0 1.44%, K1 1.53%, K2 1.49% and K3 1.38%.
