Abstract

PT. ARPS merupakan manufaktur kemasan kosmetik yang memperhatikan kualitas produknya. Buktinya PT. ARPS berencana menerapkan project Certified Conforming of Product and Process (CCPP) yang bertujuan menjamin kualitas produknya. Sasaran CCPP pada project kali ini adalah produk
7 Base dan 7 Inner. Produk tersebut dipilih karena menduduki Top 3 Sales triwulan I 2021, yakni sebesar 753,920 unit. Proses produksi utama produk ini adalah injection molding dan telah ditemukan 8 jenis defect di dalamnya. Injection molding mempengaruhi lebih dari 1 karakteristik kualitas, sehingga ini disebut dengan proses multivariat. Guna mengendalikan proses multivariat, maka digunakan control chart multivariat np (MNP). Berdasarkan perhitungan ditemukan korelasi antar jenis defect dan variabilitas proses injection molding pada 7 Base dan 7 Inner. Terdapat 33 kondisi out of upper control limit dari 257 pengamatan pada 7 Base dan 35 kondisi out of upper control limit dari 219 pengamatan pada 7 Inner. Berdasarkan control chart MNP pada perhitungan kontribusi relatif defect ditemukan 3 defect kritis, yaitu Black Spot, Appearance,dan Kotor fet. Lalu, melalui QFD dengan tool HOQ didapatkan 16 root causes
dan 8 solusi perbaikan. Solusi perbaikan kemudian diusulkan kepada ARPS sebagai upaya pada CCPP untuk mereduksi defect 7 Base dan 7 Inner.

ARPS is a cosmetic packaging manufacturer that pays attention to the quality of its products. The proof is PT. ARPS plans to implement the Certified Conforming of Product and Process (CCPP) project which aims to ensure the quality of its products. The CCPP targets in this project are 7 Base and 7 Inner. The products were chosen because they were in the Top 3 Sales in the first quarter of 2021, which amounted to 753.920 units. The main production process of these products is injection molding and 8 types of defects have been found in it. Injection molding affects more than 1 quality characteristic, so it is called a multivariate process. In order to control the multivariate process, the np multivariate control chart (MNP) was used. Based on the calculations found a correlation between types of defects and the variability of the injection molding process at 7 Base and 7 Inner. There are 33 out of upper control limit conditions from 257 observations at 7 Base and 35 out of upper control limit conditions from 219 observations at 7 Inner. Based on the MNP control chart, in calculating the relative contribution of defects, three critical defects were found, namely Black Spot, Appearance, and Oil contamination. Then, through QFD with the HOQ, 16 potential root causes and 8 improvement solutions were obtained. Improvement solutions were then proposed to ARPS as an effort to CCPP to reduce 7 Base and 7 Inner defects.
