Abstract

Kebutuhan minyak kayu putih di Indonesia sangatlah besar, hal ini dapat dilihat dari data konsumsi minyak kayu putih di Indonesia. Kebutuhan tersebut sebagian besar dipenuhi dengan impor dari negara lain. Indonesia merupakan negara yang potensi kekayaan alam yang banyak seharusnya dapat memproduksi minyak kayu putih sendiri untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi yang sangat besar. Pada tahun 2019 Indonesia memiliki permintaan minyak kayu putih sebanyak 4500-ton dan dicukupi dengan impor sebesar 2000 ton. Maka dari itu, melihat permintaan minyak kayu putih yang sangat besar dan belum dapat dicukupi dari produksi dalam negeri, dibuat rancangan pra desain pabrik minyak kayu putih dengan kapasitas produksi sebesari 60 ton/tahun. Melalui metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) dengan meninjau ketersediaan bahan baku, pemasaran, sumber energi listrik dan air, sumber tenaga kerja, aksesabilitas dan fasilitas transportasi, hukum dan peraturan, iklim dan topografi, lokasi untuk mendirikan pabrik terpilih yaitu berada di Kutawaru, Cilacap, Jawa Tengah. Raw material yang digunakan pada produksi minyak kayu putih yaitu daun kayu putih. Spesifikasi minyak kayu putih berdasarkan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI) harus memiliki kandungan 1,8-Cineole sebesar 50-65%. Produksi minyak kayu putih meliputi beberapa proses diantaranya, proses steam distillation, condensation, decantation, dan, vacuum distillation. Pada proses produksi membutuhkan steam yang dihasilkan melalui sistem utilitas steam generation dari Boiler Feed Water (BFW) dengan menggunakan bahan bakar briket yang didapatkan melalui limbah daun kayu putih pada proses steam distillation. Steam dihasilkan dari boiler dengan bahan bakar briket yang didapat dari hasil pengolahan limbah daun kayu putih pada proses steam distillation. Analisa ekonomi dilakukan dengan asumsi modal awal yaitu 60% modal sendiri dan 40% modal pinjaman, masa konstruksi 2 tahun, laju inflasi 3% per tahun, bunga bank 12% per tahun. Dari analisa ekonomi yang telah dilakukan hasil dari Total Capital Investment (TCI) sebesar Rp. 10.301.986.230, Working Capital Investment (WCI) Rp. 1.545.297.934; Fixed Capital Investment (FCI) Rp. 8.756.688.295; Total Production Cost (TPC) Rp. 50.604.393.357; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) 31,79%; Pay Out Time (POT) 4,04 tahun; dan Break Even Point (BEP) 74,813.

The demand for eucalyptus oil in Indonesia is extremely huge. Most of the demand is fulfilled by imports from another foreign country. Indonesia is one of the countries with the biggest potential in natural diversity that supposed to be able to produce its own eucalyptus oil in order to follow the uprising demand in the country. In 2019, Indonesia reached a demand of 4500 tons of eucalyptus oil with 2000 tons of it comes from imports. With a lot of demand that has not being fulfilled yet inside the country, this plant design project of eucalyptus oil is made to help add the production of the oil up to 60 tons/year. Through the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method and observing the raw material, marketing, energy and water source, source of labor, accessibility, transport facilities, law, climate and topography, the location selected for the plant is in Kurawarum Cilacap, Middle Region Java. The raw material that is used for the production of eucalyptus oil is eucalyptus leaves. Specification of the oil according to National Standard of Indonesia (SNI) requires it to have 50-65% of 1,8-Cineole. Production of eucalyptus oil includes several processes such as steam distillation, condensation, decantation, and vacuum distillation. In the production process, the steam that is needed will be produced through the utility system of steam generation by Boiler Feed Water (BFW), bricket is used to fuel the steam production process which is obtained from the waste of eucalyptus leaves in the steam distillation process. Economy analysis is done by assuming 60% of the capital comes from the owners and 40% of it comes from loan, the construction process is 2 years with 3% rate of inflation per year, bank interest 12% per year.
