Abstract

Tuberkulosis merupakan masalah kesehatan yang serius dan juga penyebab kematian kedua di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data BPS dan Dinas Kesehatan Jawa Timur tercatat bahwa Provinsi Jawa Timur menempati peringkat kedua penyumbang jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis pada tahun 2018. Jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis meningkat bila dibandingkan jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis yang ditemukan pada tahun sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan faktor – faktor yang diduga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis di Provinsi Jawa Timur menggunakan metode Generalized Poisson Regression (GPR). GPR merupakan metode yang digunakan ketika terjadi overdispersi pada regresi poisson. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini rata – rata jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis di Provinsi Jawa Timur sebanyak 1.444 penderita dan jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis terbanyak berada di Kota Surabaya sebanyak 7.007 penderita dengan kepadatan penduduknya mencapai 1.223 jiwa/km2. Hasil model generalized poisson regression jumlah penderita Tuberkulosis di Provinsi Jawa Timur tahun 2018
dengan variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan yaitu kepadatan penduduk, per-sentase rumah tangga dengan akses sanitasi yang layak, persentase rumah tangga ber-PHBS, dan persentase penduduk usia produktif.

Tuberculosis is a serious health problem and also the second leading cause of death in Indonesia. Based on data from BPS and the East Java Health Office, it was recorded that East Java Province was the second largest contributor to the number of Tuberculosis sufferers in 2018. The number of Tuberculosis sufferers increased when compared to the number of Tuberculosis sufferers found in the previous year. This study was conducted to obtain the factors that are thought to have a significant effect on the number of tuberculosis cases in East Java Province using the Generalized Poisson Regression (GPR) method. GPR is the method used when there is an overdispersion in Poisson regression. Based on the results of the study, the average number of patients with Tuberculosis in East Jawa Province was 1,444 patients and the highest number of Tuberculosis patients was in the city of Surabaya as many as 7,007 patientd eith a population density of 1,223 people/km2. The result off the generalized Poisson regression model obtained the number of Tuberculosis sufferers in East Java
with variables that have a significant effect on the model, namely population density, percentage of households with access to proper sanitation, percentage of households with PHBS, and the percentage of productive age population.
