Abstract

Ketersediaan air minum merupakan salah satu hal pokok untuk mendukung kehidupan manusia yang sehat, bersih dan produktif. Dalam menyediakan air minum, terdapat 4 prinsip yang perlu dipenuhi yakni kuantitas, kualitas, kontinuitas serta keterjangkauan. Prinsip kualitas telah tertuang dalam Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No 492 Tahun 2010 tentang persyaratan kualitas air minum. Terdapat salah satu sumber air baku PDAM Madiun yakni sumur Punden Singoludro yang belum memenuhi persyaratan TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) dan Klorida sehingga perlu ada pengolahan lebih lanjut.
Perencanaan ini bertujuan untuk mengolah air baku sumur Punden Singoludro sehingga memenuhi persyaratan TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) dan Klorida. Perencanaan ini diawali dengan pengumpulan data primer dan sekunder. Data primer yang dikumpulkan yakni kualitas air baku sumur Punden Singoludro. Data sekunder yang dikumpulkan yakni debit produksi sumur punden Singoludro, HSPK Kota Madiun tahun 2020, jenis-jenis resin, data karakteristik resin, serta jumlah penduduk yang terlayani. Pengolahan data diawali dengan memilih jenis resin yang akan digunakan. Selanjutnya dilakukan pengolahan dengan menghitung jumlah ion dalam air baku, menghitung volume resin serta waktu pengoperasian. Selanjutnya dilakukan perencanaan desain unit, pengoperasian unit serta menghitung biaya pembangunan dan pengoperasian.
Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data diperoleh volume resin pertukaran kation sebesar 3,67 m3 dan volume resin pertukaran anion sebesar 6,98 m3. Selanjutnya untuk desain kolom pertukaran kation yakni memiliki ketinggian 2,65 m dengan diameter 1,77 m; sedangkan kolom pertukaran anion memiliki ketinggian 2,65 m dengan diameter 2,44 m. Kemudian waktu pengoperasian untuk kegiatan services selama 6 jam sedangkan waktu pengoperasian kegiatan nonservices (backwash, regenerasi, dan pembilasan) memerlukan waktu 1,5 jam. Berdasarkan perhitungan RAB, biaya pembangunan instalasi pengolahan air adalah sebesar Rp. 2.023.123.311,- dengan biaya pengoperasian per tahun sebesar Rp. 1.039.454.720,-

The availability of drinking water is one of the main concern to support healthy, clean and productive human life. In providing drinking water, there are 4 principles that need to be fulfilled, namely quantity, quality, continuity and affordability. Regulation of the Minister of Health Number 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010, concerning Terms and Conditions of Potable Quality. One of the water sources of Madiun Regional Water Utility Company, well of Punden Singoludro, has not fulfill the requirements of TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) and Chloride. Thus, further treatment is needed.
This design plan aims to treat the raw water of the Punden Singoludro well to meet the requirements of TDS (Total Dissolved Solid) and chloride. The design begins with primary and secondary data collection. Primary data collected is the quality of raw water in the well of Punden Singoludro. Secondary data collected were the well od Punden Singoludro production discharge, HSPK Madiun in 2020, types of resin, resin characteristics data, and the amounts of people being served. Data processing begins with selecting the type of resin to be used. Next, data processing is carried out by counting the amounts of ions in raw water, calculating the volume of resin as well as operating time. Furthermore, the unit design, the operation of the unit and the calculation of construction and operating costs are carried out.
Based on the result of data processing, the volume of cation exchange resin is 3,67 m3 and the volume of anion exchange resin is 6,98 m3. Furthermore, the design of the cation exchange column has 2,65 m of height with 1,77 m of diameter; while the anion exchange column has 2,65 m of height with 2,44 m of diameter. In addition, the operating time for service activities is 6 hours while operating time nonservice activities (backwash, regeneration, and rinse) requires 1,5 hours. Based on the cost estimate plan, the construction of ITS water treatment plant is Rp. 2.023.123.311,- and the annual O&M cost is Rp. 1.039.454.720,-
