Abstract

Pada saat ini industri tenun ikat di Kota Kediri mengalami pengembangan hingga dikenal secara internasional. Namun pergembangan industri ini juga memiliki dampak negatif yaitu peningkatan produksi air limbah dari proses pewarnaan. Air limbah industri tenun ikat ini tidak ramah lingkungan karena mengandung TSS, BOD, COD, ammonia, fenol, dan sulfida dengan konsentrasi tinggi. Hal ini dapat menurunkan kuailtas air dan menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan pada masyarakat. Namun masih belum ada industri di sentra industri tenun ikat Bandar Kidul yang memiliki pengolahan untuk air limbah yang dihasilkan, sedangkan air limbah tersebut memerlukan pengolahan lebih lanjut.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, pengelolaan dengan koagulasi-flokulasi diikuti pengolahan biologis wetland efektif dan efisien dalam mengolah air limbah tenun ikat. Opsi ini juga didukung dengan adanya lahan yang tersedia pada lokasi perencanaan. Oleh karena itu dilakukan perencanaan IPAL komunal untuk membantu menyelesaikan permasalahan air limbah industri tenun ikat di Bandar Kidul Kota Kediri.
Pada perencanaan ini pengumpulan data terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder yang diperoleh melalui observasi, analisis kondisi lapangan, sampling, dan laporan. Data ini selanjutnya digunakan untuk penyusunan Detail Engineering Design (DED) sistem penyaluran air limbah (SPAL) dan instalasi pengolahan air limbah (IPAL), serta penyusunan BOQ & RAB. Pada sentra industri tenun ikat di Bandar Kidul terdapat 3 tempat pewarnaan dengan total debit air limbah yang dihasilkan adalah 9,51 m3/hari. Kualitas air limbah yang diolah adalah TSS 1064,5 mg/L, BOD 597 mg/L, COD 2322,6 mg/L, Total Amonia 15,9 mg/L, Sulfida 3,75 mg/L, dan Fenol 12,4 mg/L.
Perencanaan penyaluran air limbah menggunakan pompa dengan diameter pipa 50mm dan penanaman 0,8 m dibawah muka tanah. Sedangkan dimensi IPAL antara lain: holding tank (3,6 m x 1,8 m x 2,4 m), bak pembubuh koagulan (0,3 m x 0,3 m x 0,4 m), bak terjunan koagulasi (0,9 m x 0,5 m x 0,5 m), bak lintasan koagulasi (0,8 m x 0,5 x 0,4 m), bak flokulasi (4,0 m x 1,6 m x 0,8), bak sedimentasi (4,1 m x 1,7 m x 4,5 m), constructed wetland (8 m x 3 m x 1,5 m)., dan sludge drying bed (1,4 m x 0,7 m x 1,1 m). Biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk pembangunan IPAL komunal limbah tenun ikat Bandar Kidul adalah Rp. 354.467.804. Biaya operasional yang harus dikeluarkan setiap bulannya adalah Rp. 131.031/m3. Sedangkan biaya iuran setiap pengrajin setiap bulannya adalah Rp 104.000.

Currently, the woven industry in the city of Kediri has developed to become internationally known. However, this industrial development also has a negative impact, namely an increase in the production of wastewater from the dyeing process. This industrial wastewater is not environmentally friendly because it contains high concentrations of TSS, BOD, COD, ammonia, phenol, and sulfide. This can reduce water quality and cause health problems in the community. However, there is still no industry in the Bandar Kidul ikat industrial center that has treatment for the wastewater it produces.
Based on the research conducted, management with coagulation-flocculation followed by biological wetland treatment is effective and efficient in treating woven wastewater. On the other side, this option is also supported by the land availability. Therefore, a communal WWTP was planned to help solve the ikat industrial wastewater problem in Bandar Kidul, Kediri City.
In this planning, the data collection consists of primary and secondary data obtained through observation, analysis of field conditions, sampling, and reports. This data is then used for the preparation of the Detail Engineering Design (DED) of the wastewater distribution system (SPAL) and wastewater treatment plant (IPAL), as well as the preparation of BOQ & RAB. At the center of the ikat weaving industry in Bandar Kidul, there are 3 staining sites with a total discharge of 9,51 m3/day of wastewater generated. The quality of the treated wastewater is TSS 1064,5 mg/L, BOD 597 mg/L, COD 2322,6 mg/L, Total Ammonia 15,9 mg/L, Sulfide 3,75 mg/L, and Phenol 12,4 mg/L.
Planning for wastewater distribution using a pump with a pipe diameter of 50 mm and planting 0,8 m below the ground. Meanwhile, the dimensions of the WWTP include: holding tank (3,6 m x 1,8 m x 2,4 m), coagulant tub (0,3 m x 0,3 m x 0,4 m), coagulation plunge tub (0,9 m x 0,5 m x 0,5 m), coagulation trajectory (0.8 m x 0.5 x 0.4 m), flocculation basin (4,0 m x 1,6 m x 0,8), sedimentation basin (4,1 m x 1,7 m x 4,5 m), constructed wetland (8 m x 3 m x 1.5 m), and sludge drying bed (1,4 m x 0,7 m x 1,1 m). The cost required for the construction of a communal IPAL for the waste of Bandar Kidul ikat is Rp 354.467.804. The operational cost that must be spent every month is Rp 131.031/m3. Meanwhile, the monthly fee for each craftsman is Rp 104.000.
