Abstract

Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) memiliki solusi untuk permasalahan pengelolahan sampah di Indonesia khususnya Wilayah II Nusa Tenggara Timur dengan membuat proyek pembangunan Pengelolahan sampah proses thermal. Salah satu scope pengererjaan equipment proyek pembangunan Pengolahan sampah proses thermal adalah chain converyor yang dikerjakan oleh CV. Intan Well. Oleh karena itu, pada buku ini membahas tentang perhitungan perencanaan chain conveyor meliputi perencanaan rantai, sproket, poros, pasak dan bearing kemudian akan diperoleh daya motor yang dibutuhkan.
Pada perencaannya, diawali dengan studi litelatur dan observasi lapangan di CV. Intan Well. Perencanaan ini meliputi perencanaan daya yang dibutuhkan chain conveyor, Perencanaan Rantai dan Sproket, lalu Perencanaan poros dan bearing.
Chain conveyor ini memiliki panjang 10 meter dengan kecepatan conveyor 75 ft/min dan kapasitas maksimum sebesar 4 ton/jam. Data hasil perhitungan daya motor yang diperlukan yaitu 5.3 kW, rantai yang digunakan yaitu DID C2082H dengan diameter sproket 178mm 11T, diameter poros 50mm dan prediksi umur bearing untuk chain conveyor selama 1407886 jam kerja.

The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing has a solution for the problem of waste management in Indonesia, especially Region II East Nusa Tenggara by creating a thermal process waste management project. One of the scopes of work on the construction project equipment for the thermal processing of waste processing is the chain conveyor carried out by CV. Intan Well. Therefore, this book discusses the calculation of chain conveyor planning including chain planning, sprockets, shafts, keyway and bearings and then the required motor power will be obtained.
In the planning, it begins with a literature study and field observations at CV. Intan Well. This planning includes planning the power required for the chain conveyor, Planning the chain and sprocket, then Planning the shaft and bearing.
This chain conveyor has a length of 10 meters with a conveyor speed of 75 ft/min and a maximum capacity of 4 tons/hour. The data from the calculation of the required motor power is 5.3 kW, the chain used is DID C2082H with a sprocket diameter of 178mm 11T, a shaft diameter of 50mm and a prediction of bearing life for Chain Conveyors for 1407886 working hours.
