Abstract

Dewasa ini penggunaan Water Heater semakin meningkat namun pengoperasiannya masih secara manual sehingga tidak efisisen. Maka dari itu, perlu dirancang suatu system berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan aplikasi Blynk.Tujuan dari proyek akhir ini adalah untuk merancang sistem yang bertujuan untuk mengatur suhu dan ketinggian air dan memberi tahu pengguna jika suhu dan ketinggiannya kurang dari batas yang telah ditentukan
Perancangan sistem Electric Water Heater ini dimulai dari perancangan mekanik, perancangan elektrik, perancangan sistem Internet Of Things (IoT), perancangan komunikasi pada aplikasi Blynk, pengujian sistem Internet Of Things (IoT) pada Electric Water Heater, dan dilanjutkan dengan menganalisis data.
Berdasarkan hasil perancangan, didapatkan Electric Water Heater berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang berfungsi dengan baik, didapatkan sistem Internet of Things (IoT) untuk mengendalikan dan memonitoring suhu dan ketinggian air pada Electric Water Heater, Didapatkan Electric Water Heater berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) pada penelitian ini dapat dikendalikan dengan menggunakan salah satu cloud computing yaitu Blynk.

Nowadays, the use of Water Heater is increasing but the operation is still manual so it is not efficient. Therefore, it is necessary to design an Internet of Things (IoT) based system using the BLYNK application. The purpose of this final project is to design a system that aims to regulate the water temperature and water level and notify the user if the temperature and water level are less than a predetermined limit.
The design of the Electric Water Heater system starts from mechanical design, electrical design, Internet of Things (IoT) system design, communication design on the BLYNK application, testing the Internet of Things (IoT) system on Electric Water Heater, and continues with data analysis.
Based on the results of the design, an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Electric Water Heater was obtained that was functioning properly, an Internet of Things (IoT) system was obtained to control and monitor the water temperature and water level on the Electric Water Heater. An Internet of Things-based Electric Water Heater was obtained (IoT) in this study can be controlled using one of the cloud computing, namely Blynk.
