Abstract

With the purpose of increasing the country’s economic growth and equalization of infrastructure development for the public welfare in Ngawi, East Java, KemenPUPR initiated the revitalization project of Van Den Bosch Fortress to be executed by PT. Nindya Karya. This project is expected to be finished before January 2023 with a budget limit of 113.7 billion rupiahs. As a historical site building, Van Den Bosch Fortress needs to abide the current revitalization regulation for historical sites, which often prolongs the process. In order to prevent delay or exceeding the budget limit for the project, PT. Nindya Karya needs a risk analysis focused on the technical aspects. This research will identify and assess specific risks on all activities in the critical path and estimate the additional cost needed for the risk mitigation if the identified risks happen. The risk identification method is conducted by using Fault Tree Analysis to obtain the root cause problems in each activity. The risk assessment method is done by using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis with Fuzzy AHP. The risk mitigation plan proposed in this research is analyzed further using Expected Monetary Value (EMV) to determine risk mitigation value needed and mitigation decision for each risk. The outputs of this research are that based on 13 critical sub-tasks identified, there are 46 identified risks in the project. The risk with highest risk pirority number (RPN) is the risk of existing building collapse while the task is conducted with RPN value of 0,0295.The risk mitigation value is estimated to be Rp. 1.562.013.183,-, and it would be more beneficial to mitigate 15 risks according to the risk mitigation plan proposed with the estimated EMV of Rp. 380.667.865,- and the estimated EMV of the decision not to mitigate is Rp. 827.492.837,-.
