Abstract
Mekanisme  pengangkat  merupakan  salah  satu  mekanisme  yang  sangat penting  pada  tower  crane.  Mekanisme  ini  digunakan  untuk  mengangkat  dan menurunkan muatan  yang sangat berat pada sebuah ketinggian yang diinginkan. Dalam pengoperasiannya, mekanisme ini membutuhkan peralatan pengangkat  yang  terdiri  dari:  tali  baja  dan  kait tunggal  untuk  menggantungkan muatan.  Mekanisme  puli  juga  digunakan  dalam  perancangan  agar  pengangkatan
beban  lebih  stabil.  Daya  motor  ditransmisikan  menggunakan  kopling  ke  poros input  pada gearbox,  dari  poros  output gearbox  akan  memutar  drum  yang  akan
menggulung tali, sehingga mengangkat dan menurunkan beban secara vertikal.

Hoisting  mechanism  represent  one  of  very  important  mechanism  at  tower  crane. This mechanism is used to lift and degrade the very heavy payload at a height wanted In  its  operation,  this  mechanism  require  the  hoisting  equipments  consisted  of the: steel wire rope and single barb to drape the payload. Mechanism pulley is also used
in  scheme of  so  that  to  be  burden lifting more stable.  Energy of  transmission motor  use the  coupling to input  axis of  at  gearbox, from  axis  of  output  gearbox will  turn  around  the drum to furl the string, so that lift and degrade the burden vertically.
