Abstract
Minyak goreng dedak padi merupakan minyak yang kaya akan asam lemak tidak jenuh yaitu linoleic dan oleic. Kedua asam lemak tersebut dapat menurunkan kolesterol darah dan menurunkan resiko serangan jantung koroner. Minyak dedak padi dapat digunakan untuk sebagai alternatif untuk pencegahan penyakit jantung koroner. Minyak dedak padi memiliki stabilitas yang tinggi dan manfaat yang banyak. Selain itu, minyak dedak padi dapat dijadikan standar bagi minyak lainnya untuk menilai kemampuan penurunan kolesterol. Oleh karena itu, minyak dedak padi sangat disarankan bagi penderita kolesterol. Pabrik Minyak Goreng Dedak Padi akan didirikan di Lamongan, Jawa Timur dengan estimasi waktu mulai produksi pada tahun 2025, dengan pembelian peralatan pada tahun 2022 dan masa konstruksi selama 2 tahun. Penentuan lokasi pabrik berdasarkan pada sumber bahan baku, sarana transportasi, dan penyediaan utilitas. Hal ini dikarenakan Lamongan merupakan penghasil dedak padi terbesar kedua di Jawa Timur selain daerah Jember dan Bojonegoro. Selain itu, lokasinya yang dekat dengan pelabuhan sangat menguntungkan untuk distribusi produk maupun transportasi. Pabrik minyak goreng dari dedak padi ini berkapasitas 16.000 ton minyak/tahun dengan masa operasi secara kontinyu selama 24 jam per hari dengan hari kerja 330 hari per tahun. Untuk memproduksi Minyak Goreng Dedak Padi sebesar 16.000 ton minyak/tahun diperlukan bahan baku Dedak Padi sebesar 80.000 ton/jam. Proses pembuatan minyak goreng dedak padi dapat diuraikan menjadi 3 tahapan proses, yaitu Proses Pre-Treatment, Proses Ekstraksi dan Proses Refinery. Dari perhitungan analisa ekonomi, dengan harga jual minyak goreng dedak padi sebesar US$ 3200/ton, Deoiled Rice Bran sebesar US$ 140/ton , Spent Earth sebesar US$ 120/ton , Sekam sebesar US$ 80/ton , dan Rice Bran Fatty Acid Distillate sebesar US$ 700/ton. Adapun diperoleh Internal Rate of Return (IRR) sebesar 23,39 %. Dengan IRR tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa pabrik layak untuk didirikan dengan suku bunga 6 % (Bank Jatim) dan waktu pengembalian modal (Pay Out Time) selama 3 tahun 1 bulan. Perhitungan analisa didasarkan pada discounted cash flow. Modal untuk pendirian pabrik menggunakan 50 % modal sendiri dan 50 % modal pinjaman. Modal total yang dibutuhkan untuk mendirikan pabrik adalah sebesar Rp 217.388.236.474,61 sedangkan untuk Break Event Point (BEP) yang diperoleh adalah 38,17% dan Net Present Value (NPV) yang didapat sebesar Rp 167.287.727.017.

Rice bran oil is an oil which contains more unsaturated fatty acids, such as linoleic and oleic. Both of those fatty acids can lower blood cholesterol and reduce the risk of coronary heart attack. Rice bran oil can be used as an alternative for the prevention of coronary heart disease. Rice bran oil has high stability and many benefits. In addition, rice bran oil can be used as a standard for other oils to assess cholesterol-lowering ability. Therefore, rice bran oil is highly recommended for people with cholesterol. Rice bran oil plant will be established in Lamongan, East Java with an estimated production that start in 2025, with purchase of equipment in 2022 and a construction period of 2 years. Determination of the location of the factory based on the source of raw materials, means of transportation and the provision of utilities. This is because Lamongan is the second largest producer of rice bran in East Java besides Jember and Bojonegoro. In addition, its location close to the port is very advantageous for product distribution and transportation. This plant has a capacity of 16.000 tons of oil/year with a continuous operation period of 24 hours per day with 330 working days per year. To produce rice bran oil of 16.000 tons of oil/year, 80.000 tons of rice bran/hour are needed as raw materials for rice bran. Production of rice bran oil includes several processes such as pre-treatment, extraction process and refinery process. From the calculation of economic analysis, with the selling price of rice bran cooking oil of US$ 3200/ton, Deoiled Rice Bran of US$ 140/ton, Spent Earth of US$ 120/ton, Husk of US$ 80/ton, and Fatty Rice Bran Acid Distillate of US$ 700/ton. The internal Rate of Return (IRR) obtained is 23,39%. The IRR indicates that the plant is feasible to be established with bank interest 6% per year and a payback time of 3 years and 1 month. Calculation analysis is based on discounted cash flow. The capital for the establishment of the plant by assuming 50% of the capital comes from the owners and 50% of it comes from loan. The total capital required to set up a plant is Rp.217.388.236.474,61 while the Break Event Point (BEP) is 38,17% and the Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp. 167.287.727.017.
