Abstract

Hotel Platinum Surabaya merupakan salah satu hotel yang terletak di Surabaya Pusat. Hotel ini dibangun sebagai salah satu pemenuhan permintaan tempat menginap atau istirahat bagi para tamu/pelancong di lokasi yang strategis karena berada di jantung kota Surabaya. Hotel ini dibangun dengan struktur utama menggunakan beton bertulang dengan metode cor in-situ. Banyak tuntutan terhadap pekerjaan konstruksi yang cepat dan efisien sering kali terjadi, terlebih pada kasus bangunan bertingkat. Menanggapi hal tersebut, digunakanlah metode precast concrete yang dinilai tepat untuk dijadikan alternatif. Di samping itu, penggunaan metode precast concrete khususnya pada bangunan bertingkat seperti Hotel Platinum Surabaya memiliki kelemahan yaitu rentan terhadap gaya gempa sehingga diperlukan metode tambahan untuk meredam gaya gempa yang terjadi akibat gempa bumi, salah satunya dengan menggunakan base isolation tipe high damping rubber bearing (HDRB).
Pada Tugas Akhir ini akan dilakukan studi komparatif antara modifikasi struktur Hotel Platinum Surabaya yang menggunakan sistem rangka pemikul momen khusus (SRPMK)/fixed base structure terhadap sistem rangka pemikul momen menengah (SRPMM) dengan base isolation tipe high damping rubber bearing (HDRB)/isolation structure. Struktur modifikasi ini akan menggunakan dua macam sambungan yaitu dry joint dari produk Peikko Group dan wet joint. Desain dan analisis elemen beton precast dan base isolation pada Tugas Akhir ini mengacu pada beberapa pedoman dan peraturan seperti SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, PCI Design Handbook, dan beberapa referensi lainnya.
Dari hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa isolation structure dapat mereduksi gaya geser dasar akibat gempa bumi pada nilai koefisien dan faktor yang sama sebesar 55.002% untuk arah X dan 54.435% untuk arah Y dan juga dapat mereduksi drift sebesar 26.942% untuk arah X dan 27.948% untuk arah Y dengan meningkatkan waktu periode bangunan sebesar 133.532% dari fixed base structure.

Platinum Hotel Surabaya is one of the hotels located in Central Surabaya. This hotel was built as a way to fulfill the demand for a place to stay or rest for guests/travelers in a strategic location because it is in the heart of Surabaya. This hotel was built with the main structure using reinforced concrete with cast in-situ method. Many demands for fast and efficient construction work often occur, especially in the case of high-rise buildings. In response to this, a precast concrete method is used which is considered appropriate to be an alternative. In addition, the use of the precast concrete method, especially in high-rise buildings such as the Platinum Hotel Surabaya, has a weakness that is vulnerable to earthquake forces so that additional methods are needed to reduce earthquake forces caused by earthquakes, one of which is by using base isolation of high damping rubber bearing (HDRB) type.
In this final project, a comparative study will be conducted between structural modification of Platinum Hotel Surabaya using special moment frames/fixed base structure against intermediate moment frames with base isolation of high damping rubber bearing (HDRB) type /isolation structures. This modified structure will use two types of connections, namely dry joint from Peikko Group products and wet joint. The design and analysis of precast and base isolation concrete elements in this Final Project refers to several guidelines and regulations such as SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1726:2019, SNI 1727:2020, PCI Design Handbook, and several other references.
From the analysis that has been done, it can be concluded that the isolation structure can reduce the basic shear force due to earthquakes at the same coefficient and factor values of 55.002% for the X direction and 54.435% for the Y direction and can also reduce drift by 26.942% for the X direction and 27.948% for the Y direction by increasing the building period by 133.532% from the fixed base structure.
