Abstract

Abstrak
PT. Petrokimia Gresik yaitu merupakan salah satu pabrik
pupuk yang terlengkap di Indonesia terkhususnya Jawa Timur. Di
Unit Produksi Phosporic Acid di Pabrik III PT. Petrokimia Gresik
didesain untuk menghasilkan asam fosfat mencapai 172.450 ton
per-tahun dan juga digunakan untuk pembuatan pada pupuk
TSP/SP 36 serta juga produk sampingan seperti gypsum. Bahan
baku yang digunakan pada Pabrik III PT. Petrokimia Gresik yaitu,
phospate rock dan asam sulfat 98,5%.
Pada tugas akhir ini didapatkannya hasil perhitungan
evaluasi ulang instalasi dan pemilihan pompa yang sesuai untuk
instalasi hemihydrate recycle pump P-2402A. Untuk perhitungan
head, NPSHA, kapasitas, daya pompa, dan rekomendasi pemilihan
pompa dilakukan secara analitis dan juga numerik menggunakan
software pipe flow expert v7.30.
Pada perhitungan evaluasi ulang pada instalasi ini,
didapatkan kapasitas untuk kapasitas maksimal = 326,58 m3/jam,
Head Efektif = 14,473 m, NPSHA sebesar = 3,8 m, serta
didapatkkan daya motor sebesar = 19,289 kW. Maka dari itu hasil
perhitungan-perhitungan tersebut dapat dipilih pompa centrifugal
single stage merk Mazda Pump dengan type VO-2004MMSB.

Abstract
PT. Petrokimia Gresik is one of the most complete fertilizer
factories in Indonesia, especially in East Java. At the reaction
section production unit of phosporic acid III PT. Petrokimia Gresik
was designed to produce phosporic acid reached 172.450 tons per
year and also used for the production fertilizer TSP/SP-36 and the
other products such as gypsum. Ther raw materials used at this
plant are rock phospate and sulfuric acid 98,5%.
In this final project, the author got the result of instalation reevaluation
calculation and selection of a suitable pump for the
instalation of the hemihydrate recycle pump P-2402A. Head,
NPSHA, capacity, power, and pump selection calculation are
manually calculated by the author and numerically calculated by
Pipe Flow Expert V7.30.
According to the re-evaluation, the author got the capacity for
instalation’s of hemihydrate slurry pump with maximum capacity
= 326,58 m3/hour, Head Effective = 14,473 m, NPSHA = 3,8 m,
and motor power = 19,289 kW. Therefore the results, of these
calculations can be selected single stage centrifugal pump of
Mazda pump type VO-2004MMSB.
