Abstract

UD. Felrare merupakan sebuah industri yang memproduksi seragam kemeja sekolah dan songkok dengan mempekerjakan 6
karyawan untuk kemeja sekolah. Jumlah karyawan tersebut diperkirakan terlalu banyak karena sering terjadi target produksi terpenuhi sebelum waktu yang ditentukan, sehingga perusahaan akan menghentikan produksi dan terdapat tenaga kerja menganggur. Hal tersebut menyebabkan pengeluaran biaya lebih untuk menggaji karyawan, sementara itu penentuan jumlah tenaga kerja di UD. Felrare belum ada perhitungan yang pasti, oleh karena itu akan dilakukan penelitian tentang penentuan jumlah tenaga kerja yang dibutuhkan menggunakan pengukuran waktu kerja dengan jam henti (stopwatch time study). Hasil dari pengukuran tersebut akan diperoleh waktu standar yang digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja yang diperlukan dalam menyelesaikan produksi seragam kemeja sekolah. Hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan, bahwa waktu standar yang diperlukan untuk memproduksi seragam kemeja sekolah selama 2 jam 34 menit per unit serta jumlah karyawan yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan target produksi sebanyak 5 karyawan.

UD. Felrare is an industry that produces school shirt uniforms and squats by employing 6 employees for school shirts. The number of employees is estimated to be too much because often the production target is met before the specified time, so the company will stop production and there is an unemployed workforce. This leads to more costs to hire employees, while determining the number of workers at UD. Felrare has no definitive calculation, therefore there will be research on determining the amount of labor needed using a measurement of work time with stopwatch time study. The results of these measurements will be obtained the standard time used to determine the amount of labor required in
completing the production of school shirt uniforms. The results of the study concluded that the standard time required to produce school shirt uniforms for 2 hours 34 minutes per unit as well as the number of employees needed to complete the production target of 5 employees.
